San Bernardino County is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,035,210, up from 1,709,434 as of the 2000 census. With an area of 20,105 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, larger than any of the nine smallest states, and larger than the four smallest states combined; and larger than the closest-sized countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Costa Rica.[3]

Located in the southeast California, the thinly populated deserts and mountains of this vast county stretch from the outskirts of the densely populated Riverside-San Bernardino Area to the Nevada border and the Colorado River.

The county seat is San Bernardino. The county is considered part of the Inland Empire region.

HISTORY

Father Francisco Dumetz named San Bernardino on May 20, 1810, feast day of St. Bernardino of Siena.

San Bernardino County was formed from parts of Los Angeles County in 1853. Parts of the county's territory were given to Riverside County in 1893.

The Franciscans gave the name San Bernardino to the snowcapped peak in Southern

California, in honor of the saint and it is from him that the county derives its name.[2]

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for waking us this morning to see another day. We thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies. Father, we begin this day saying there is none like You. No one else can touch our hearts like You do, we have tried many relationships, many situations, getting more money, stuff and things, but Lord still we have come to the conclusion there is none like You! We thank You Lord for loving us through the many times we thought we were on our own. We thank You for loving us through the times we insisted on doing things our way. We thank You for Your ever lasting love and for never giving up on us. Today is a new day, filled with new blessings, benefits and opportunities, let us not waste energy today concentrating on the things of yesterday, but instead, press forward today. We pray one for another, asking that You will give each one good eyes---eyes to see where You're leading us. Give us good ears -- ears to hear Your voice and only listen to You. A good mind -- a mind to worship and praise only You. Help us to bridle our tongues to speak no evil; Strengthen our hands and feet so that in all that we do and in everywhere we go today, we will bring glory to You. We thank You in advance for the many victories we will experience today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
We praise the Name of Jesus! We thank You for being our Rock, our Fortress, our Redeemer, our Friend, our Comforter, our Shepherd, and our Peace. We thank You Lord for being our all in all. Without You Lord we could do nothing. Without You we would be nothing. Without You we have no hope. Without You we have no joy. Without You we don’t have the blessed assurance that we are more than conquerors in all things. Thank You Lord for this day filled with endless benefits and possibilities. We pray one for another, asking You to help us remember all of our help comes from You. Help us remember our faith is what fuels everything we hope for. It’s according to our faith that we’re healed. It’s according to our faith we are delivered. It’s according to our faith we can forgive and move on. It’s according to our faith our dreams can be reality. It’s according to our faith we will experience victory after victory today. Help us remember our right now faith can expect our right now God to exceed abundantly above all we ask or think. It’s a great day today and we shall rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:
It’s another day’s journey and we’re glad about it! Lord we thank You for blessing us to see a new day. For some, yesterday was filled with disappointment, regret, frustration, pain, hurt and trouble, but still it was a great day. We are so thankful for today, another chance to do what we keep saying we’re going to do. We have another chance to forgive and live. We have another chance to stop fighting our calling and just be who You designed us to be. Lord, we’re looking ahead, purposing in our heart to keep moving forward. We shall remember our fight is not against flesh and blood. We shall remember we are The King’s children. We shall remember nothing shall separate us from Your love. We shall remember You are for us and that is more than the whole world against us. We shall remember our praise is our weapon! We shall remember this is the day our faithful God has made, so there is nothing left for us to do except rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for waking us to see another perfect day. It's perfect because You made it. It's perfect because You do all things well. It's perfect because all the days of our life we have never seen one day repeated. Everyday has been new and we give You praise for the newness of today. We offer praise to You because we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Your works are wonderful. We offer praise to You because there is nobody greater than You and because You live in us we are great, so we look forward to this day with great expectations. We lift Faye Richardson to You as she prepares for surgery. Lord, we ask that You will make Your presence known in the operating room, move mightily with Your healing touch and grant her peace. Lord, I ask also that you Bless my Aunt, Geneva Walker as we celebrate the Homegoing of Help her to remember that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We pray one for another, asking that You bless each one to remember today is already perfect and all we need to do is let our lights shine, give love one to another, stay away from all negativity, speak words that bring life and offer praise to our awesome God with the life we live. We praise the Name of Jesus and we thank You in advance for a victorious, prosperous, peaceful day, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for life, health and strength. We thank You for Your unconditional love to us always. We thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. We thank You for the endless benefits and possibilities this day holds. We pray each one will know we can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength and with God all things are possible. Knowing all we know about You, we pray each one will feel better about themselves, knowing we are children of the Most High God and our status is, favored. Where there is sickness, let us speak healing. Where there is doubt, let us speak with confidence. Where there is financial difficulty, let us speak prosperity. Where there is confusion, let us speak peace. Whatever the situation today, let us speak Your Word and believe Your promises are true. It’s a great day today and we have great reason to rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for the gift of life. We thank You Lord because we know it is in You that we live, we move and have our being. We thank You Lord because we know without You there is no way we could live. Without You there is no way we could love or be loved. Without You there is no way we could walk, talk, hear, see, taste, smell, rhyme or reason--You are the source of our strength and the strength of our lives, so we lift our hands in total praise to You. Lord we thank You because You keep doing great things for us; You keep extending new mercy morning by morning; You keep giving us chance after chance to decide it's time we place our lives in Your hands and let Your will be done in our lives. Lord, because You keep doing great things for us we offer a right now praise to You, we shout out, hallelujah!!! We're praying for Drew Colvin who is waiting on the miracle of a heart transplant. Lord, You are the God Who can do anything, including make his heart new; So we trust You to do this great healing in his life. Draw him closer to You that He may know He's in the hand of the Great I Am. Today there will be no whining, complaining, arguing, fussing, gossiping, or putting anyone down; Instead we will speak words that bring life, words that encourage, words that uplift, for we recognize our words are powerful! We praise You Lord for this beautiful day that You have made and we purpose in our hearts right now to rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION/HAPPY FATHER'S DAY:

BREATH

Breathe in, now let it out. How did that feel?
Have you ever even thought about what a blessing it is to breathe in and out?
Just now, you did it on command, but last night while you slept, who told you to keep breathing? Well, one thing we know for certain, it wasn’t you, nor was it me. I choose to believe it was God Who told me to keep right on breathing. Who is God? Can I see Him? No! But, neither can I see the air that I’m breathing in and out.

I can’t speak for you, nor can I make you believe what I believe, but I thank God He gave me breath in my body one more day. Hallelujah! If you choose to believe God did it for you as well, what are we going to do with our blessing today?

Shall we waste it fussing and complaining? Is it really that important to keep holding on to the same anger/bitterness? Will we give in to that thing we said we will never do again? How many more days are we going to waste thinking about what happened many yesterdays ago? That boy, that girl, the woman, that man ---those are our brothers and sisters, shall we use our blessing laughing at them or putting them down? Is it really that important to bring out their negative, as we see it?

What will we do with our blessing today? How about we choose to look to be a blessing? It doesn’t take much, smile; Say good morning; Hold the door for someone; Let the other car go first; Hug a child, it’s OK, hug an adult too. We’re blessed to be alive, what will we do with our blessing today?

How about we choose to use our blessing to be a blessing to someone else today? Breathe in, now let it out. That felt great! Now, let’s go make this world a better place to live in today.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:

SAME OLD, SAME OLD
Tired of the same old, same old? Do something different
Tired of the same old, same old? Say something different.
You will never get anything new out of the same old, same old.

You’ve tried to adjust. You’ve tried to compromise. You’ve tried going with the flow.
You’ve tried holding your tongue. You’ve tried fitting in. You’ve tried being who “they” wanted you to be.
You’ve tried it all, it didn’t work, it’s old! Do something new!

You’ve tried Tylenol. You’ve tried High Blood Pressure Medicine. You’ve tried wine.
You’ve tried it all, but still you have headaches. Still you’re stressed. Still you’re frustrated.
It’s not working! Do something new!

Change is difficult, but sometimes very necessary.
Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever; BUT, He’s always doing things NEW!
You’ve tried it all, except (maybe) trusting God, embracing change and doing something new.

You don’t have to settle for same old, same old, God never runs out of NEW.

Trust God, do something new today.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:
HAVE A GREAT DAY, TODAY
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may never come. Today is here, what will you do today to get you where you’re supposed to be today. Rehashing yesterday will keep you from enjoying today. Daydreaming about tomorrow will cause you to miss what’s happening today. The benefits, the possibilities are endless today, what will you do?
Stop! Enjoy beauty, the flowers, the birds, did you see the butterfly? The smile of a loved one, the laughter of the children; Love is around you, take the time to look for it today. God has given us another chance to enjoy life today, what will you do?
Worrying about things you can’t change, for what? Having the same discussion, argument or disagreement again, why? If he or she didn’t like you yesterday, chances are they won’t like you today, move on. Everything you hate about your job, school or life situation will probably still be there today, why mess up your day hating? The common thread to everything in your life is YOU. How about loving you enough to stop allowing stress to enter your life? Stress kills! Do something today to shed a positive light on the negative?
Stop messing up your day thinking about things that make you sad or mad. Quit talking to people you have to walk on eggshells to have a conversation. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you will continue to get the same result. How many more yesterdays are you going to live today? When will enough be enough?
Declare by faith, today is the first day of the best days of my life!!! Take a minute, close your eyes, breathe in, slowly blow it out. Now go have a great day, today!

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:

TAKE CARE OF YOU
You are the only YOU this world has, so take care of YOU.
You know what stresses YOU.
You know what gets YOU down.
You know what makes YOU sick.
You know, so take care of YOU by staying away from the things you know are not good for YOU.
You know who genuinely loves YOU.
You know who is there just for the ride
You know who respects YOU and you know who neglects YOU.
You know who supports, honors and encourages YOU.
Deep down inside you know who is for YOU and you know who you’re not sure about.
You know, so take care of YOU. Why give all of YOU when you have doubts?
Know your value and refuse to be auctioned or sold at a thrift shop.
Love you. Take care of you by eating right, exercising and getting plenty of rest.
Encourage you. It’s important to encourage yourself, that way when no one is around, YOU can encourage YOU.
It’s alright to care for others, but if they don’t love themselves enough to take care of themselves, then really, what can YOU do?
You are the only YOU this world has, so take care of YOU.
