Good day, I work with Barbara Morrison and we are continuing to grow at our Leimert Park venue, in Los Angeles. I am also continuing to book Jazz/Blues/R&B performances. Since Maverick's Flat is around the corner from our venue, I have spoken with the General Manager of Mav's. Flat. I am booking a few groups this month. Here is the line-up:
Wednesday, March 9, 2011- Jazzy Rita and the 2Jazzy Crew; Directed by Willie Daniels
Rita Shelby is an Actress, Speaker, Radio Host, and Jazz Vocalist. Rita starred the 1990's movie called South Central and has done movies, TV, Radio and Jazz Vocal Entertainment
Wednesday, March 16, 2011- Dorothy 'Lady Coco' Morris and her Band, Lady Coco offers a very exciting style of her jazz vocal presentation
Wednesday, March 30- Drew Simpson and his Band; Jazzy R&B, Drew exhibits an exciting presentation of Jazz and R&B with a jazzy twist
All performances are from 8:00PM to 11:00PM
