San Bernardino County is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,035,210, up from 1,709,434 as of the 2000 census. With an area of 20,105 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, larger than any of the nine smallest states, and larger than the four smallest states combined; and larger than the closest-sized countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Costa Rica.[3]

Located in the southeast California, the thinly populated deserts and mountains of this vast county stretch from the outskirts of the densely populated Riverside-San Bernardino Area to the Nevada border and the Colorado River.

The county seat is San Bernardino. The county is considered part of the Inland Empire region.

HISTORY

Father Francisco Dumetz named San Bernardino on May 20, 1810, feast day of St. Bernardino of Siena.

San Bernardino County was formed from parts of Los Angeles County in 1853. Parts of the county's territory were given to Riverside County in 1893.

The Franciscans gave the name San Bernardino to the snowcapped peak in Southern

California, in honor of the saint and it is from him that the county derives its name.[2]

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father in heaven, it’s another day’s journey and we are glad about it. We thank You for blessing us to see another perfect Tuesday. It’s perfect because You made it and You know everything there is to know about today. We praise You because based on what You know about today, You have already planned to work it together for our good. We pray You will give strength to all of the bereaved families all over the land. We pray You will give courage to all those who are just about at the point of giving up. We pray You will remind those who feel as if they have no hope that You’re still alive and as long as You’re alive there is hope. Bless those who are searching for the right way to go with direction. We pray each one will be reminded You are the Great I Am and with all that You are, You love us and You promised to never leave us alone. We purpose in our heart right now to trust You in all things. We believe we can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength, so we’re going forth knowing in all things, WE CAN! We love You, we trust You, we praise You and we will magnify You in and over all things, in Jesus Name, Amen.

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:
This morning we want to lift unto you the family of our fellow alumni, Richard "Richie" Andrews as they deal with his transition. Help them to remember that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We ask this because O Lord, our God, how great You are! How faithful You are! How loving You are! How forgiving You are! How merciful You are! You are the Great I Am, everything we need You to be. We thank You for this day filled with endless benefits and possibilities. We declare by faith we can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength. Today we can conquer anything! Today we will take another step in the direction of fulfilling our purpose. We will let our lights shine, shine, shine! We praise You because there is nothing about this day that will take You by surprise. You know all and can do all, so we will trust You. We will not try to fix what’s broken, but we will head in the direction of NEW. We ask that You will help us yield not to temptation. Help us recognize the tricks and schemes of the evil one and ask You to help us stay on course. We will say NO to DISTRACTIONS! Help each one of us to purpose in our heart to do the work You have assigned for us to do. Give us the patience to not grow weary in doing good and trust our due season is here. We’re excited because at the end of this day we will smile and say, “Thank You Lord for bringing us through victoriously!” In Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Lord we praise You for life. It feels good to be a part of this beautiful day You created just for us. Yesterday has nothing to do with today, so we pray one for another asking that You give us the willpower to leave yesterday alone. Help us live today like we’re grateful for today. We purpose in our hearts to not waste any time today arguing, fussing, complaining, whining or being ungrateful. We pray each one exemplifies how grateful we are to You for Your faithfulness to us, always. We pray each one will take the time to look around and see all of the blessings You so freely give to us. We pray each one will appreciate the mere fact that we’re breathing. Thank You Lord for breath and we will praise the Lord today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

We declare by faith, today is our day to shine. It’s our day to do our work. It’s our day to not participate in any negativity. It’s our day to show love one to another. It’s our day to praise You in advance for the, “Yes” to our prayer. Lord help us remember the words we speak today will grow. TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
O Lord, our God we thank You for our life, our health and our strength. We may have aches and pains, financial issues, broken hearts and troubled minds, but we thank You because we're still here to experience it all. The fact that we're still here means we still have work to do, so we asked that You will give us the strength and courage to press through the pain, press through the financial issues, press through the broken heart and troubled mind, press through the sickness--press through believing there is a blessing on the other side of through. Help us to know that praising You in advance for our victories is the fuel we need to press through. Worrying and complaining slows us down, worshiping and praising the Most High God renews our strength and gives us what we need to make it through. Help us to remember You made this day and nothing about this day will take You by surprise, You can handle it all. If by chance something happens that catches us by surprise, remind us to quickly call on the One Who's not surprised at all, the One Who knew it was coming and already has a plan in motion to work it together for our good. It's a great day today and by faith we shall look at our situations and call them good; We shall purpose in our hearts right now to rejoice and be glad in this day through it all, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Our Father, we thank You for the blessing and privilege to wake up to see another Monday. It’s a new day and we begin this day saying, “Thank You for all You’ve done for us!” We thank You for our life, health and strength. We thank You for all the mountains You’ve brought us over and all the valleys You’ve brought us through. We thank You for the understanding of the fact that You are the only true and living God. We thank You for revealing to us truth, for it is because of truth we are free. We shout out, Hallelujah!!! to our Lord, our God and our Savior. We pray one for another, asking You to give us the courage and strength to walk in our truth. Give us the courage to walk past discouragement, distractions and any attempt to take us off the course You have set before us. We purpose in our heart right now to show love one to another. We purpose in our heart to live to be a blessing and in all we do today, You be glorified. We will rejoice and be glad in this day, no matter what. We give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:
HOW THANKFUL ARE YOU?
Are you thankful enough to wake up and say, “Thank You for waking me to see one more day!”
Are you thankful enough to smile even when it seems nothing is going right?
Are you thankful enough to laugh when the world says you should be crying?
Are you thankful enough to be grateful God brought you through; So grateful that you’re no longer angry at who caused you to go through?
Are you thankful enough to look for good in every situation and be thankful for the good?
Are you thankful enough to appreciate who God made you to be and just be happy being you?
We have so much to be thankful for, but here’s the thing, “Thankful” is an action word. Every day our Director yells, “Action!” How many times during the course of the day will He say, “Cut!” Action speaks louder than words. The life we live speaks louder than the words we speak. The life we live should speak, “Thankful”.
How thankful are you? Don’t speak it, BE it!

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:
O Lord we praise You for our life, health and strength. We worship You because You are everything we need You to be, You are the Great I Am. This is another day that You have made and because You made it You know all about it, so we pray each one trust the fact that nothing takes You by surprise and everywhere we go today we remember You're already there. We're praying for Wayland Washington, Kerwin Cox and Gladys Hunter, asking for Your mighty healing touch. We pray one for another, asking that You strengthen the weak, encourage the downhearted, heal the sick, deliver those in bondage --the fact of the matter is, whatever we need You to be, You are already that-- help us to trust the facts. Lord it's a beautiful day today, help us to not waste time dwelling on the things of yesterday. The things we keep thinking about and trying to work out, help us to resolve we can't, but You can--then cast it to You and get out of the Way. Help us to know we get in the way by playing tug of war or by riding the sea-saw, it's time to let go. It's hard letting go, it hurts letting go, it's scary letting go, but we'll never get through holding on. We pray each one purposes in our heart to do something today that brings glory to You, help us start by simply smiling. For those who find it difficult to smile we pray they remember, tomorrow is not promised to any of us, all we have is right now and because we're still here right now, we have a reason to smile. We give You praise in advance for the many victories we will experience today. We praise You in advance for peace in the middle of what we're going through. We praise You in advance for a 'right now' praise throughout this day, in Jesus Name, Amen.
