Lord, we worship You. Thank You Lord for blessing us to see each new day; days that we haven't yet seen before. Thank you Lord for blessing our family (the Macon-Hall Family) with a new and healthy baby (my 1st Grandchild --a Grand Daughter) born on Friday, October 20, 2017 at UCLA Hospital (weighing in at 7 lbs. & 7 oz.). Lord thank you for blessing (My Son) a new Father and the new Mother (Erin). Lord, Great is Thy faithfulness. Lord, You are the Great Physician. Father we ask that you touch and heal Alumni Reginald "Reggie" Hall who will undergo foot and ankle surgery, and Alumni Kenneth Bowman who is recuperating from pneumonia; and anyone else who is sick and who stands in need of prayer at this time. Lord, we ask that you touch and heal in a mighty way. Father God, we know that there are many who have been burnt out of there homes this week in the devastating California wildfires. Father God, we ask that you would comfort and console them all as they look towards rebuilding. Father, we ask that you would supply them (as well as the homeless, the hungry, the depressed, and the mentall ill) with all their needs and restore them to not lose faith in you and to let them know that everything happens for a reason and that you are still in control. Father God please help them to remember the last time You brought them out and give them a praying and a praising spirit.  Father we thank you for the prayers of our Fellow Alumni Bishop Willie Williams prayers. Lord, we thank you for him and we ask that you bless Bishop Willie's Ministry a hundred to a thousand fold. Father, we Love you and we ask that You would bless all who reads this prayer.  Father God, we ask this prayer in the Sweet and Precious Name of Jesus. Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

O Lord, our God, we lift our hands in total praise to You. We know it is in You we live, move, and have our being; all of our help comes from You. We worship You because You are the source of our: strength, peace, joy, love, salvation... without You we couldn't do anything, wouldn't be anything, nor would we have anything -- all glory belongs to You. We thank You for this day of thanksgiving, for we recognize, every day we have breath is a day to be thankful to You. We pray You shine a light on each of us, let us see Your light shining on the gift You gave us; and give us the wisdom and courage to stir up the gift and use it for Your glory. Help us to remember, we can do all things when we know it is Jesus Who gives us strength. We pray the life we live today is pleasing in Your sight and all will know we belong to the Most High God, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

O mighty God, we worship You for Who You are in all of Your glory. We’ve tried many things, we’ve trusted many people; we’ve been disappointed, misunderstood, hurt, and sometimes abused—all of our life experiences have taught us, there is NONE like You!!! You are the Source of our strength; You are the strength of our life; You are the lifter of our head, the joy in our heart and the peace in our soul. Thank You for being everything we need You to be; thank You for always loving us unconditionally. We pray each one desires to love You more…each one desires to worship You more…each one desires to praise You more—not just with our lips, but most importantly with the life we live. We pray each one desires to be more obedient to You and excited about using the gifts You have placed within us for YOUR GLORY! We pray You renew our spirit and help us to have a new determination to be all You designed us to be; and live the abundantly life You came to give us. We walk on by faith this day, trusting You to order our steps and lead us in Your way. We pray the smile someone needs today—we be available to smile, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father in heaven. We thank You for waking us to this new day.  Yesterday we didn't say all we should have said, we didn’t do all we should have done, and in some cases we said and did too much; thank You for Your mercy.  Thank You for loving us through our mistakes, and for reassuring us of Your constant presence when we doubt.   Thank You for never giving up on us and for refusing to let go even when we're wrong.  Your love to us is amazing.   Today is a new day and we thank You for a fresh start and a new beginning.   We're excited about the great new things in store for us today.   We will keep moving forward, determined to be a blessing in all we say and do.  We say "no" to all distractions and "yes" to Your will for our life today.  We declare by faith, today is the first day of the best days of our life, we will rejoice and be glad, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayers go out to all those affected by the Hurricane Harvey in Texas &  Hurricanes Irma, Jose', and Katia that are happening in the Atlantic Ocean now and are heading towards Florida and the Bahamas in the Caribbean Islands this weekend. Praying for Mexico who experienced an 8.1 magnitude earthquake today.

Praying for our "Class of 1975"as they mourn the passing of two of our female Classmates within days of each other: Karmala Beasley (who passed on 9-1-17) and Collett Withers (who passed on 9-5-17). I'm truly saddened to hear of both of these ladies passings (but) I am grateful that God allowed us to know them. I pray God's blessings of comfort and peace to their families and may their memories sustain them.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

BECAUSE OF CALVARY

There is none like You. No one else can touch our heart like You do. We can search throughout eternity and still we won’t fine anyone like You. Lord, we praise You for the gift of life. Things may not be as well as we would like them to be, but it is well with our soul because we’re still here to experience it all. We pray each one will show all we come in contact with today how grateful we are to still be here, by glorifying You in our smile, our walk and our talk. We pray each one will pursue peace and know You are for us and that is more than the whole world against us. It’s all good! We’re going forth today letting everyone know, it’s all good because we live, move and have our being in the Great I Am; we have all we need!!! It’s a great new day and we will rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

BECAUSE OF CALVARY

Oh Lord, our God, how excellent is Your love toward us. Your love to us is amazing! Knowing all You know about us, still You give us mercy; You give us chance after chance to be all You designed us to be—all You desire is to be glorified in our life…You desire to be noticeable in our life. We pray one for another, help us to be aware of the fact that, everywhere we go there is someone watching us. What they see in us today may be a matter of life or death, we pray each one displays life. We pray You will be displayed in our walk, our talk and in the way we treat one another. We all have expectations, help us to channel our expectations in the right direction—only You can supply our every need. Help us to know if we trust You, we can always expect great! We pray for all who are hurting, disappointed, feeling betrayed, unable to forgive and walking in their feelings; open eyes of understanding, help us to see, we go through what we go through because we expected “them” to do what only You can do. Our prayer today is, “help us Lord to trust Your love to us more” in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
We worship Christ our Lord! You are a mighty God and we praise You for being mighty in our life. Thank You for the blessing of this beautiful day! We thank You for the blessing and privilege to still be here. We thank You for air to breathe, beauty to behold and a purpose to pursue. Our life has meaning because we live, move and have our being in You. We pray each one is excited about living, so excited that we will live to be a blessing today. We pray someone will be encouraged by our smile and inspired by our walk. We pray the words we speak and the actions we take will be motivated by our love to You. This is the day our faithful God has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.
