How ‘bout being thankful for what you have?
You will never be happy “wishing”. We wish because we’re looking elsewhere, when the truth is, if we take the time to know “who we are” we’ll find we’re interesting ourselves. Stop wishing on a star and be happy that you are the star. In fact, you are the apple of God’s eye just the way He made you.
Wishing has destroyed relationships. Wishing has brought on great debt. Wishing has caused people to give up on who they are in search for who they wish they could be. Then, after all the wishing you end up wishing you never did, which means you’re still wishing.
The antidote for wishing is, believe God knew what He was doing when He made you (just the way you are). Embrace who you are, appreciate what you have and instead of wishing, be thankful! You are the best you God made and no one can beat you being you.
Lord, we thank You for life, health and strength. We thank You for another beautiful day to live. Great is Your mercy towards us. You keep doing great things for us. You keep looking beyond our faults, our mess and mishaps and You continue to see the best in us. We pray each one will purpose in our heart to stay focused, give us the wisdom to recognize distractions and be determined not to be distracted. WHY WAIT? The new year is just around the corner. Already we have made plans for 2015. We're planning to lose weight. We're planning to break some habits. We're planning to decrease someone's presence in our lives. We're planning to work towards our dreams, visions and goals.
All of this we're planning to begin in 2015. It's our New Year's Resolution! "I'm going to do better in 2015. I am watch!" "2015 will not be like 2014!" "I will not put up with what I did in 2014. I won't!"
Why wait until 2015? Why wait, we have today. Today is already here, why wait? Today is the day to work towards tomorrow. We have today, who's to say tomorrow will ever come?
The graveyards are full of plans for tomorrow. A plan today for tomorrow is a plan that could very well end up buried . Today is the day to begin what you planned for tomorrow. Do it today. Why wait?
Our Father in heaven, we offer praise to You for waking us to see another beautiful day. We offer praise to You for food, clothing and shelter. We offer praise to You for health, strength and a sound mind. We offer praise to You for never leaving us and for always bringing us through. We lift our hands in total praise to You, for You are an awesome Ruler, gentle Redeemer, the only true and living God! You are the reason we live, move and have our being. Lord, for waking us this morning, for every breath, for every step we have made and every word we have spoken thus far we say, "thank You ". There are so many times we take things for granted, we don't recognize the true blessing just to be alive; forgive us for not saying thank You enough. Lord, we have so much to be grateful for and today we ask that You open our eyes that we may see how blessed we really are; help us to pay close attention to our surroundings and realize we are blessed. Today is Christmas Eve, we pray each one will slow down and take the time to reflect on the reason for the season. It’s because of You we are who we are; It’s because of You life has true meaning; It’s because of You we have a reason to smile every day. We say thank You Jesus for being our gift Who keeps on giving, in Jesus Name, Amen.
WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER: Lord, for this this day we say, “Thank You!” The last day of 2014 we say, “So glad we made it!” Lord, we have different testimonies about 2014 and we’ve began to declare what’s going to happen in 2015, we pray each one will declare, “I will BE better in 2015. We pray each one will commit to DO better in 2015. We pray 2015 is not just another year, “same ole-same ole”, but rather each one will commit to being dedicated to our purpose. We pray no gift is marked, “unused”; Books and songs will be written, businesses will be started, schools will be attended, degrees will be awarded, support groups will be formed, lives will be changed—we pray each one will declare, “I can do what I’ve been placed here to do!” After our declarations have been made, we pray each one purposes in our heart to get started with our work and finish strong. Draw each one closer to You that we will always remember, we are great because GREATER lives in us. The situations we face in 2015 may be great, but we will remember You are greater. Our God is awesome and we thank You for being awesome in our lives. We give You praise, hallelujah Jesus!!! Amen.
Many talked about all they were going to do in the New Year, well, the New Year is here, now what?
As I laid in my bed the morning of January 1st, of course I was thankful to live to see another day, which happened to be the first day of a new year; But I thought, “Wow, nothing has changed?”
There was nothing mystical or magical about the beginning of a new year. The same struggles that existed the night before were still there. The same things that I needed to do still needed to be done. I still needed to start exercising again. I still needed to start eating right again. I still needed to stop procrastinating. There was so much I still needed to do, nothing had changed with the new year.
What’s my point? My point is, everyday we’re blessed with a new opportunity to do what we keep saying we’re going to do. We don’t have to wait until the new year. For some, you’ve already stopped doing what you said you were going to do, if that’s the case, start again! Don’t keep saying, “I’m going to . . .” because before you know it, it will be December 31st again, and you will again be saying what you’re going to do in the new year.
If you’re expecting Great Things from our Great God in 2015, then you have to begin expecting great on a daily basis. Let’s work with what we know we have right now, today. It’s a New Day, rejoice, be glad and celebrate!!
Faithful, faithful, faithful is our God! Thank You Lord for this new day. We thank You because all the days of our life You have been faithful. In spite of the many times we let You down by choosing to do things our way, You still love us unconditionally. Even during our times of dealing with the consequence of our actions, You didn’t leave us and You continued to share Your grace and mercy, thank You. We pray one for another asking You to give us the strength to stop making the same mistakes and the courage to do what we know we need to do. We trust You have great things for us, help us to know our faith, our dedication, our commitment, our actions will determine when we will receive the great things You have prepared for us. Lord, we’re moving forward, although forward is sometimes difficult, we trust You will carry us through. We pray Your blessings and protection over our children as they go back to school today. Bless the teachers and administrators to have an attitude of excellence as they bless the lives of our children. We give You praise in advance for the victory over all distractions today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

We thank You for great things coming. We pray one for another, help us to not grow weary in well doing, but know in due season our harvest time is coming. We will not give up, but we will continue holding on to our faith. We will not turn back, but we will continue reaching to what You have prepared for us. WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER: O Lord, our God how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth. From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same Your Name is to be praised! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. We thank You Lord for breath and we purpose in our heart to rejoice and be glad in this day, no matter what. We will not let our circumstances and situations cause us to act as if we have no hope, our hope is in You. You are the source of our strength and the strength of our life, we lift our hands in total praise to You. Bless each one to remember we have access to all power through You, and we can do all things because You will give us strength. Help each one to lift up our head and know You are the King of Glory and expect You to be strong and mighty and mighty in battle in our life. WE WIN!! We praise You in advance for renewed strength today. We praise You in advance for refreshed vision and dreams today. We pray each one will refuse to use today as a pothole from the past, but instead use today as a stepping stone into greatness. We all have our struggles; it makes no sense to make others struggle yours.
We all have hang-ups and issues; why take on others hang-ups and issues?
There are some who will envy you, be jealous and vow to never support you (in secret); don’t take that on, it’s their problem.
They may lie on you, lie to you; their lies is their struggle, leave it alone!
There are down-low haters out there, they smile in your face, but behind your back they’re hoping you fail; you know who they are, just keep being you and leave them to their struggle.
Facebook, Twitter and other social media is the cause of struggle for many.
We don’t like what “they” say. We don’t like that they didn’t “like” what we post.
Again, don’t make that your struggle, let people be who they are and you continue to shine.
You show love and it’s taken for granted. You do good and “they” say it’s for ulterior motive.
What does any of that have to do with you? It is their struggle!
The struggle is real!
Question: Don’t you have enough of your own struggles? Then stop taking on the struggles of others. Be you, make sure your motive is pure, (forget what they say or think) trust God and do your work.
Soon you will discover your struggles have become less, all because you refuse to take on their struggles.
Don’t let anyone’s struggle tempt you to react negatively, keep sharing love one to another and watch God get glory from your life.
The struggle is real, but make sure it’s your struggle.

Great is Thy mercy and loving kindness towards us, day after day. You have been faithful, You are faithful and because You change not, we trust You to continue to be faithful. We thank You for this new day of life. It’s a new day to do new things. It’s a new day to trust You more. It’s a new day to expect Your mighty hand moving in our life. We pray one for another, asking You to see our concerns, see our issues, see our struggles and speak. Speak healing, speak deliverance, speak comfort, speak understanding, speak clarity; then give us the courage to speak knowing our words are powerful. Lord, for waking us this morning, for every breath, for every step we have made and every word we have spoken thus far we say, "thank You ". There are so many times we take things for granted, we don't recognize the true blessing just to be alive; forgive us for not saying thank You enough. Lord, we have so much to be grateful for and today we ask that You open our eyes that we may see how blessed we really are; help us to pay close attention to our surroundings and realize we are blessed. Today is Christmas Eve, we pray each one will slow down and take the time to reflect on the reason for the season. WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER: Lord, for this this day we say, “Thank You!” The last day of 2014 we say, “So glad we made it!” Lord, we have different testimonies about 2014 and we’ve began to declare what’s going to happen in 2015, we pray each one will declare, “I will BE better in 2015. We pray each one will commit to DO better in 2015. We pray 2015 is not just another year, “same ole-same ole”, but rather each one will commit to being dedicated to our purpose. We pray no gift is marked, “unused”; Books and songs will be written, businesses will be started, schools will be attended, degrees will be awarded, support groups will be formed, lives will be changed—we pray each one will declare, “I can do what I’ve been placed here to do!” After our declarations have been made, we pray each one purposes in our heart to get started with our work and finish strong. Draw each one closer to You that we will always remember, we are great because GREATER lives in us. The situations we face in 2015 may be great, but we will remember You are greater. Even during our times of dealing with the consequence of our actions, You didn’t leave us and You continued to share Your grace and mercy, thank You. We pray one for another asking You to give us the strength to stop making the same mistakes and the courage to do what we know we need to do. Lord, for food, clothing, shelter and a means to provide our need we thank You. Lord, for proving to us over and over that You are the Great I Am we thank You. We have so much to be thankful for, but especially for loving us always unconditionally we are grateful. We pray one for another, asking You to help us remember You have taken good care of us all the days of our life, and help us trust with all our heart You will continue to be the same yesterday, today and forever. With You today is no different than any other day You’ve watched over us. Our circumstances and situations today are no more difficult than all the others You’ve brought us through. All praises be to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, God, You are wonderful! We praise You for being the same yesterday, today and forever. We love You because You have always kept Your promises. You’re with us when we’re right, when we’re wrong and when we don’t know what to do. You extend us Your mercy, saturate us with Your grace and envelop us with Your peace. There is no one like You, thank You for Your unconditional love always. We pray one for another, asking You to help us remember Your reputation in our life. When difficult times and hurtful situations come, help us remember You can. We’ve seen You work in our lives before and we believe You will continue to bring us through victorious; But while we wait, help us to trust You more. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
We all have our struggles; it makes no sense to make others struggle yours.
We all have hang-ups and issues; why take on others hang-ups and issues?
There are some who will envy you, be jealous and vow to never support you (in secret); don’t take that on, it’s their problem.
They may lie on you, lie to you; their lies is their struggle, leave it alone!
There are down-low haters out there, they smile in your face, but behind your back they’re hoping you fail; you know who they are, just keep being you and leave them to their struggle.
Facebook, Twitter and other social media is the cause of struggle for many.
We don’t like what “they” say. We don’t like that they didn’t “like” what we post.
Again, don’t make that your struggle, let people be who they are and you continue to shine.
You show love and it’s taken for granted. You do good and “they” say it’s for ulterior motive.
What does any of that have to do with you? It is their struggle!
The struggle is real!
Question: Don’t you have enough of your own struggles? Then stop taking on the struggles of others. Be you, make sure your motive is pure, (forget what they say or think) trust God and do your work.
Soon you will discover your struggles have become less, all because you refuse to take on their struggles.
Don’t let anyone’s struggle tempt you to react negatively, keep sharing love one to another and watch God get glory from your life.
The struggle is real, but make sure it’s your struggle.
