Most of you may know, remember or are familiar with the Melson family (Marlana had (6)six siblings: 4 brothers & 2 sisters) , (Brother) Douglas Melson c/o '76, (Sister) Lola c/o '82 or '83, (Brother) Enrico "Ricco" c/o '73, (Sister) Carmen c/o '72, (Brother) Rudy c/o '71, and (Brother) Nolan c/o 68 or '69 at Centennial Senior High School the 'Big Ten'.
Marlana's family, the Fletcher family and my family were neighbors back-in-the-day. At one time our/my Family lived about (4) doors down from the Melson Family. My older brother Searcy and Marlana were Classmates (from the Class of 1974). I will remember Marlana fondly. Marlana was always a sweetheart. She was a very nice and beautiful person inside and out. She had a wonderful spirit and a very friendly personality. She will be truly missed. May she R.I.P.

Prayer
Lord, we come lifting the Melson Family up in prayer. Lord, we're asking for your comfort during this difficult and sorrowful time. Lord, we ask that You would please comfort the family, friends, and loved ones as only You can. Lord, let them know that you are always in control even when they do not understand the why, but give them peace in knowing that you always know, understand, and have everything in control. Lord, I ask that you give the Family strength; the kind of strength that only You can provide…for You are the one who will help them put one foot in front of the other and move forward through the days ahead. Lord, let them know that Your healing is mighty and that You will carry them when they are unable to stand. Lord, let them know that You are the constant in their lives when all else changes. Thank you, Lord, for already being an anchor and a rock for this Family and Alumni who are grieving. Lord, let them know that you will hold onto them today and always. Lord, we give You all the victory in this, all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise in the sweet and Precious Name of Jesus.
