God, it's so easy to love You because You're wonderful. It's so easy to love You because You're marvelous. It's so easy to love You because You're Glorious. It's so easy to love You because You call us friend, the fact of the matter is, You are our very best friend. Lord, You know the good, the bad, and the ugly; You know our thoughts before we think them, You know our actions, including the ones we try to keep secret. You know our motives, our desires, our habits and addictions; And we have found out no matter what You know about us, You still love us and You still have a plan for our lives. This morning Lord, we celebrate You!!!! There is none like You and we praise You for looking beyond what others see and seeing the best in us. Help us this day to not let the distractions in our lives overshadow Your goodness, kindness, mercy and grace. Bless each one to know we're still here for a reason and the reason is not to fuss, gripe and complain; But we're here to praise and glorify You by being who You created us to be and doing what You have assigned for us to do. It's a great day and we're going forth with a positive attitude, looking to be a blessing to someone else. Good morning O Majestic King! We worship and adore You O Most High! We shout out hallelujah to the only true and living God! We praise You Lord because You are still the reigning Champion in our lives. We thank You Lord because Your presence in our lives makes life worth living. It's because of You, we have courage to forget about yesterday's sadness, disappointments, failures, successes and conquer today. Thank You Lord for blessing us to see another beautiful Monday morning. We thank You Lord for family and friends. We thank You for food, clothing and shelter. Lord, we thank You for always supplying our every need. We thank You for a wonderful weekend and we stand on tip-toe anticipation expecting a great week. Good morning Lord! We're so glad we don't have to ask how You're doing, because You are the same yesterday, today and forever ---And all the days of our life You have been good!!! Thank You Lord for Your amazing love to us, always. We pray that each one will take the time to think things over: Think about how good You've always been to us; Think about how You have never let us down; Think about how many consecutive days You have woke us up; And, instead of complaining about our situation, instead of being in a crazy mood, instead of having a bad attitude-- Take the time to say, "Thank You Lord!" We thank You Lord because things don't have to be as well as they are, the fact of the matter is things could be so much worse. We thank You Lord because You are the Sovereign God. Our Father in heaven, God we thank You for blessing us to see another day. It is another day that we have not seen before, we're taking breaths that we've never taken before and our hearts are still making new beats. Already today we have experienced the newness of another day, it's not the same old, same old, but it's a new day filled with endless possibilities. We begin this day thanking You for every breath we will take, every step we will make, every life we will touch, every victory we will experience, every wrong we will forgive, and every praise we will offer to our God. Father, help us stay focused, determined to live this day with no regrets, no grudges, no back-stepping, no doubting, no backbiting, and no negativity. Bless each one to know we are a blessing, so it makes sense to be a blessing everywhere we go. Our Father in heaven, Lord thank You for this day. Father we realize our enemy is busy trying to distract us and throw us off track, so we ask that You will answer all knocks from our enemy today. Help us to make up our minds to allow You to fight our battles and we keep busy giving You all the praise and bringing glory to Your Name in all that we do and say, in Jesus Name, Amen.
O Lord, our God, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! We worship You Christ our Lord, for truly You are an awesome God. You are holy, O so holy! You are faithful, O so faithful! You are righteous, O so righteous! You are loving, O so loving! You are the only true and living God and we gladly profess there is none like You! Lord, we thank You for blessing us to see another beautiful day. We thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. We thank You for continuing to look beyond our faults and bringing out the best in us. Lord, we're praying for those who are going through a struggle right now. We pray for those who are fighting for their lives. We pray for those who desire to do right, but evil is always there to tempt them and they feel like they're losing the fight. We pray for those who are contemplating giving up to go back to their old way of living. Lord, grant each one the strength they need to give up and surrender their lives to You. Give up and allow You to have Your way in their lives. Give up and believe this battle is not theirs, but it belongs to You. We don't ask You to move our mountains or take us out of the struggle, but we do ask that You help us remember the last time You brought us out and believe Your reputation is good, You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You did it, You're doing it and You will continue to take good care of us. Victory today belongs to us and we give You praise in advance for giving us what we need to tell the enemy, "NO!" Praise the Name of Jesus! You're our Rock! You're our Fortress! You're our Deliverer in You do we trust!!! Praise Your Name Lord Jesus! We praise You Lord for this day that You have made. Our Father in heaven, Lord we thank You for this another day You have blessed us to see. We thank You for our life, health and strength. We thank You for Your Word, full of Your promises that assure us You're always with us and You will always take care of us. Your Word promises nothing will separate us from Your love. Your Word promises You will cause all things to work together for good, for those of us who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In Your Word You told us tribulations would come, but we could be of good cheer because You have overcome them all. God, because of Your Word we can live knowing our life is worth living and we can live expecting great things. Thank You Jesus for Your Word! God, we're taking You at Your Word, we will trust You with all our hearts and we will not lean to our own understanding, but in all our ways we will acknowledge You first and expect You to direct our paths. We lift Kim Jones to You, as she prepares to enter the operating room. God, we're trusting You to move mightily on her behalf, we're believing You for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. We believe we can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength. We believe there is nothing too hard for God to do. We believe no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We believe You're working all things together for our good. We believe without faith it is impossible to please You. We believe You're with us everywhere we go and since You're with us we already know it's going to be a great week. Bless each one to know what they believe, stand on Your promises and moved forward expecting great things. Oh Lord we thank and praise You for another day of life. Father, we thank You for continuing to supply all of our needs. We thank You for our health, we thank You for our strength, we thank You for our family, and we thank You for our friends. Your Word tells us to give thanks in everything, and because You told us to do it we know it's possible. It's possible because the good in our lives far outweighs the bad. It's possible because our faith is not based on our present circumstances, but it's based on how faithful You have been all the days of our lives. We're praying one for another and make special request for the families of Tawnette Fulton-Gilbert and Johnny Tucker, we know that YOU know their circumstances and exactly what needs to be done, so we make this request and leave in your hands for your good and perfect Will to be done, in Jesus' Name. Our Father in heaven, we worship You O mighty God. Lord You are holy, righteous, omnipotent, just, true, loving, kind, faithful; You are all that and so much more and we thank You for being all that You are in our lives. We thank You for taking care of us another perfect Wednesday and for waking us to see another perfect Thursday. Every day that You make is perfect and we thank You for blessing us to be a part of perfection everyday. Lord we thank You for proving to us everyday that You favor us. We thank You for continuing to have mercy on us, for there are many times we place things before You, ignore Your favor and live life as if we're keeping ourselves. Forgive us for being arrogant, forgive us for being selfish, forgive us for sticking our chest out and saying, "I did it" without considering the fact it is in You that we live, we move and have our being. It's because of You that we are and we owe You the praise!! Father, this morning we're lifting those to You whom we personally pray for everyday. We thank You Lord because we don't have to name them one by one because You know all their names and issues. We're asking for a mighty move from You in their lives and that You will draw them closer to You. Lord, each person that we pray for individually is being prayed for right now at the same time and we thank and praise You in advance for a sound mind and clear direction. We thank You for a new determination to live out Your will in their lives. We thank You in advance for Your touch, Your healing and Your deliverance, in Jesus Name. We thank You for this great day that proves to us again, God favors us, in Jesus Name, Amen.
The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you--depending on how YOU respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. Here are five reasons God May have Permitted the problems for experience in your life:
1. God permits problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God allowing this situation to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways. " Proverbs 20:30
2. God permits problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags ... if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God tested your faith by allowing a problem or two into your life? What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3
3. God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something...health, money, a relationship...by losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalms 119:71-72
4. God permits problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. (example: Someone was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem-but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered.) "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good"... Genesis 50:20
5. God permits problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems...they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4
** Here's the point: God is at work in your life-even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him. Our Father in heaven, God we praise You because we know, through it all we're learning to trust You more; we're learning to depend more on Your Word. We thank You Lord because we know, You are working all things together for our good, because we love You and are the called according to Your purpose. We give You praise for a wonderful day today and we thank You in advance for the favor shown to us today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

O Lord our God, You are holy, O so holy! What a privilege and honor to worship the only true and living God. We bow humbly before You worshiping You because You are love, kind, righteous, just, awesome, true, patient, faithful, omnipotent, omniscience, our Shepherd, our peace, our Comforter, our Lord, our Savior and we thank You for being all that You are to us every second, every minute, and every hour of the day. Lord, we've heard people say, "Without God I would be nothing" and we agreed when it was said, but Lord it is the greatest feeling in the world to come to the place in our lives where we know without a doubt, it's because of You that we are. It's because of You our life is worth living. It's because of You no matter what this day holds we can handle it, because You promised to never leave us. We pray one for another asking You to give us the wisdom to take advantage of the fact that the Comforter is with us. God help each one to know we don't have to make a wrong move today, because the Comforter will lead and guide us. Help us to know we don't have to worry about trying to understand it all, all we need to do is trust You. Give strength to our arms today that we may lift them to You in total praise, surrendering our way to You and trusting Your way. We declare the past is over, there is nothing about our past that's new, so we're moving forward expecting our great God to make all things new. We give You praise and we thank You for the victory today, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness, kindness, mercy and grace. We thank You for waking us in our right mind, a mind that tells us because we're still here today, it's time to praise the Lord!!! A mind that tells us to shout hallelujah to the Lord our God, the almighty King! A mind that tells us to be thankful for our lives, our health, our strength, our family and our friends. A mind that tells us we're not still here because You have forgotten about us, but we're still here because we have not yet fulfilled the purpose for which You created us. God help us to know a mind is a terrible thing to waste and it's time to listen to what our minds are telling us and act accordingly. Give us the wisdom to know when the enemy tries to tempt us to go against our right mind, we can ask our Savior to help us yield not to temptation. We thank You Father for speaking to our minds throughout the day. We confess sometimes we don't listen but rather we go ahead and do things our way; Only to discover doing things our way causes You to have to work our way together for our good. Help us to know often times our struggle is a result of doing things our way, but thanks be to God Who always gives us the victory through Christ Jesus our Lord. Give us the strength and courage to say no to our way and yes to Your way and believe Your way is always the best way. Today is a great day, we purpose in our hearts right now to rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what and we will let nothing stop us from using our right mind, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Lord, we thank You for blessing us to see another brand new day. Lord, we offer thanks to You knowing it's good to give thanks unto the Most High God. We offer praises to You believing from the rising of the sun until the going down of the same, Your Name is to be praised! Lord, we pray one for another asking that You will draw each one closer to You, that we may desire to know You better. We pray that today be the day that we trust You more. Good morning Lord! Oh how we love You! Oh how we praise You! Oh how we worship You! Oh how we lift up Your Holy and Righteous Name, confessing You and You alone are worthy of all the praise. We thank You Lord for Your love that is illuminating this beautiful day that You made. We thank You Lord for being our strength and shield, without You we can do nothing --this we know! Without You Lord our lives would be meaningless -- this we know! Without You we would be aimlessly wandering --- this we know! Without You Lord we would have nothing to look forward to and our lives would have no rhyme or reason --- this we know! Lord thank You for opening our understanding and causing us to know we've got a reason to praise You. No matter what's going on in our lives right now, we still have a reason to praise You. We can praise You because we have Your promises to stand on. We can praise You because we expect You to do just what You said You would do; So, by faith we look at our situations and call them, "GOOD" and by faith we thank You for doing exceedingly abundantly above all we have asked and thought. Lord, I ask a special prayer for my helpmate, Dr. Claudetta and my sis. Lori, touch heal and deliver if it be thy Holy Will, also help them to realize that it doesn't matter what this day looks like, by faith we thank You in advance for a great day. This morning my brothers and sisters I would like to use for a subject: “GOD WANTS TO DO A NEW THING”. If you attend church regularly I know you’ve probably heard this sermon text preached over and over. Hearing, God wants to do a new thing to some of us is very exciting. Why? Because we're tired of the "same old, same old". New sounds good and we can't wait to get it! But this morning I woke up singing, “Woke up this morning with my mind stayed on Jesus, hallelu, hallelu, hallelu-u-jah!” Wait, that’s not a new song! Nope it’s not, but it still works.
Then I thought about, “He’s sweet I know, He’s sweet I know. Dark clouds may rise, strong winds may blow, but I’ll tell the world wherever I go, that I have found a Savior and He’s sweet I know.” But wait, the subject is, God Wants To Do A New Thing, that song certainly is not new. Nope, but it still works.
Then another song came to mind, “There is a Name I love to hear, I love to sing it’s worth; It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest Name on earth. Singing, O how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.” OK, that's three songs, none new! Maybe I should change the title of the message, right? Nope! Why? Because the old is still working.
What’s my point? My point is, don’t be in such a hurry to get rid of the old. New is good and we should certainly expect God to continue to do new great things in our lives, but God has given us some old songs with new meaning. When we sang those songs growing up, really we sang the songs with little or no meaning, but the older we get, the more we understand a relationship with the Lord is absolutely necessary; And, the more we know a closer walk with Jesus is necessary, the more the old songs take on new meaning in our lives. Yes, God is doing a new thing!
What’s your favorite hymn? Your favorite "oldie"? Sing it when trouble comes. Sing it when doubt creeps in. Sing it when tempted to do wrong. Sing it throughout this day and today you will experience peace that surpasses all understanding. "You just ask the Savior to help you, comfort, strengthen and keep you; He is willing to aid you and He will carry you through".
Lord for this day we thank You. For our life, health and strength we thank You. For food, clothing and shelter we thank You. For Your loving kindness and tender mercy we thank You. For continuing to do great things for us we thank You. Lord, we just want to thank You for all You have done, are doing and will continue to do for us. Help us this day to concentrate on Your goodness, continue to be thankful and not be distracted by the tricks and schemes of our enemy. Lord, our relationship with You is the most important relationship we will ever have, help us not to be distracted by other relationships that have gone bad, but instead appreciate our relationship with You and work to come closer to You. Lord, open our eyes to see those who are not good for us and give us the courage to let go. Help us to trust You and believe You will not withhold any good thing from us and You're always working all things for our good. Give us the strength to keep our hands off and allow You to work. Help us this day to use our hands to help someone in need. Today we will use our hands to lift our problems, troubles, heartaches and pains to You and with our hands lifted up, we will continue to offer praise to You. Lord, if trouble comes today, remind us to look at our hands and know the best things we can do with our troubles is lift them to You. We thank You in advance for a perfect peaceful day today, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Hallelujah! Salvation and glory, honor and power, unto the Lord our God! For Lord You are mighty, all knowing, everywhere present, loving, kind, patient, true; You're simply wonderful! Lord You are Great and we praise You because You are King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Thank You Lord for being our Savior, our Lord, our God and our friend. We pray also for those who are tired of doing things their way, those who desire to please You, those who don't know You --We're lifting each one to You, asking that You move mightily in our lives, provide strength and courage to the weak; Help us to know it's not time to grow weary in well doing, but it's time to hold on to Your unchanging hand, move forward and expect overflow blessings. Because You Lord are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think; We trust You Lord and believe that You can, and our faith says that You will, God we believe You! We're not concerned about how bad our situations may seem, because we trust You! You have always came through for us; You have never let us down and based on Your reputation in our lives, we're looking at our situations and by faith calling them, "GOOD". Lord, today we're expecting great, we're expecting nothing but victory because we're on the winning team. Lord You are our Quarterback and we are Your Wide Receivers, we thank You in advance for throwing us the ball and going before us to block our way all the way to the finish line. Touchdown after touchdown we shall experience, thank You Jesus! We give You praise and we shout out, "Go Jesus! Go Jesus! Go!!" In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
One day I decided to quit... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. 'God', I asked, 'Can you give me one good reason not to quit?' His answer surprised me... 'Look around', He said. 'Do you see the fern and the bamboo?' 'Yes', I replied. 'When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said. 'In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.' He said.
'Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.'
He asked me. 'Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots'. 'I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.' 'Don't compare yourself to others,' He said, 'The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.' 'Your time will come', God said to me.
'You will rise high' 'How high should I rise?' I asked. 'How high will the bamboo rise?' He asked in return. 'As high as it can?' I questioned. 'Yes.' He said, 'Give me glory by rising as high as you can.'
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. Never, Never, Never Give up. Here, Lord we ask a special Blessing on Sis. Verlaine Stauffer; give her the strength and courage to never give up.
Our Father we praise You for Who You are and for always knowing and doing what's best for us! We praise You because we're growing stronger and we will rise as high as we can to give glory to You, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for blessing us to see another day. Father, yesterday we celebrated the fact that You raised Jesus from the dead and we praise You today because the celebration is not over! We still celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today and everyday. We celebrate because the blood of Jesus still works today and forevermore, it will never loose its power! We thank You Jesus for loving us so much that You gave Your life in order that we might be saved. We pray for each one who reads this prayer, praying that all see the sense of urgency in sharing Your love. Praying that we realize tomorrow is not promised, so today is the day to have love one to another. Today is the day to share the Good News. Today is the day to let our lights so shine everywhere we go. We're praying for those who are struggling with making a decision to do right; Those who are struggling with making up their minds to do it Your way--give us the courage, wisdom and strength to trust You to give us what we need to make the decision and stand on Your promise that You will never leave us. Help us to know because You're with us, the power to make the decision and stand by it is available to us. Today is the day to rejoice and be glad through it all, today is the day to let nothing stop us from giving praise to the Most High God, not just with our lips, but with the lives we live, we pray for those struggling with spiritual, physical, mental, emotional illnesses, we pray especially for Apostle Berry, Bishop Bonner, Lori Williams, Tawnette Fulton, Barbara Hayes and Mother Shirley Jackson and her husband Bishop Jackson and Johnny Tucker, we ask for divine healing for all of us who are standing in the need of prayer, and the family of Bishop Gregory Dixon as they mourn the loss of their loved one. We ask in Jesus Name, Amen.
Good morning Lord! We thank You for the blessing and privilege to still be here. Still here to offer praises to Your Name. Still here to worship and adore You. Still here to see the bright sunshine. Still here blessed with the love of family and friends. Still here and we thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. Lord we pray one for another asking that You will give us the strength to not waste one minute on negative thinking, negative people or negative situations. Help us to think on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely and admirable. Help us to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Give us the courage to purpose in our hearts to keep pressing on, no matter what. It's a beautiful day and it makes no sense to add clouds of confusion, doubt, despair, worry or fear; So if a situation comes that has the potential of causing us to cloudy up our day, give us the strength to use our energy to praise our way through. Our Father in heaven, we thank You for blessing us to see another beautiful day. Although it's raining outside, we thank and praise You for adding the "Sonshine" to our lives. We pray that You will bless each one with traveling grace as we travel up and down the wet and slippery highways. Protect us from hurt, harm and accidents, and let us reach our different destinations safely. Lord, listening to the raindrops fall is comforting and soothing, some of us wish we could stay home and relax, we dread getting out in the rain. But, we thank You for the rain, because if we never had any rain we couldn't enjoy the colorful plant life, the impurities in the air would never be washed away and our food supply would become scarce. Lord, just as the physical rain improves our survival and brings about growth, so it is with the storms of our lives--we don't like going through the storms, but we praise You because after the storms are over, we're stronger, better and wiser. Lord help us to remember, because You are our Father, You will take care of us. Help us not to complain about the rain, but instead thank and praise You in advance for the green trees and grass, the beautiful flowers and fresh air, thank You Lord for always taking good care of us. Lord, whether it's raining or the sun is shinning bright, it's a beautiful day, help us to remember our attitude will determine our altitude, so we're thanking and praising You all the way through, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Thank You Lord for this another day that You have blessed us to see. We thank You Lord for another chance to say yes to Your will. We thank You Lord for another opportunity to say, "Thank You Lord for all You've done for us". You're more than capable of leading us away from temptation and You're more than capable of bringing us through trouble, heartaches and pain. Lord, help us to remember You are with us always and with everything that You are and all that You have, You will take care of us, BUT we must trust You. Lord, help us this day to run our plans by You first and trust You to provide "The Answer". You are the Source of our strength and the strength of our lives, help us this day to go forth in the power You have made available to us. We thank You for assuring us one more day, Great is Your Faithfulness, for everyday of our lives You have given us brand new mercy. Lord we thank You because You keep doing great things for us, You keep loving us in spite of ourselves, You keep providing all of our needs, You keep being the One we can always count on --We praise You Lord for all You've done for us! Our Father, we thank You for waking us to a new day. We thank You for protecting us throughout yesterday and for watching over us as we slept last night. We thank You Lord for Your promise to be with us always. Help us to remember, You with us is more than the whole world against us. Because You're with us, it doesn't matter what comes our way, if we trust You the victory will always belong to us. Lord help us to remember the victory is not always seen right away with our natural eye, but our faith in You helps us know it with our Spiritual eyes. Father, we pray one for another, asking You to give us the wisdom, strength and courage not to react based on what we see with our natural eye, but instead use our Spiritual eyes to know we can be of good cheer because You have already overcome all that we see with our natural eye. Today we will not let what we "see" get us down, we will not let what we "see" cause us to react negatively, we will not let what we "see" alarm us and cause us to fear, but instead we will use what we "KNOW" -- We "know" we're more than conquerors through Christ Jesus Who loves us. We "know" we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. We "know" greater is He Who's in us than he that's in the world. We "know" God's grace is sufficient for us! So, based on what we "know" we're not going to wait until the day is over to say thank You, but we're going to shout "hallelujah!' right now, for the victory already belongs to us, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Lord, we thank You for another day that You have blessed us to see. We thank You for a great weekend and we look forward to the great things You have in store for us this week---we're expecting nothing but victory! Lord, help us to go forth renewing our minds daily trusting Your Word and standing on Your promises. We thank You God because we know with You all things are possible and we praise You because there is nothing too hard for You to do. Father, we're praying for the Rentie family. Help them to continue to look to You and know that You are too good to be mean and too wise to make a mistake. Tuesday Morning Prayer - Our Father in heaven, oh how we love You, we worship You, we adore You, we bless You, we lift up Your holy and righteous Name, confessing You are the only true and living God. You, and You alone are worthy of all the praise. We thank You Lord for blessing us to see one more day, it is a day we've never seen before. In fact, all the days of our lives we have never seen one day repeated, nor have we taken the same breath; You are a mighty God and we praise You for being faithful morning by morning. Father, we don't know what this day will bring, but we're excited because we know we belong to the One Who already sees today from beginning to end; And, since You made this day, there is nothing about this day that will intimidate You, nor catch You by surprise. So Lord, today we will recognize Your ever presence in our lives, we will talk to You about everything and trust You in all things. We thank You for taking care of us another perfect Wednesday and for waking us to see another perfect Thursday. Every day that You make is perfect and we thank You for blessing us to be a part of perfection everyday. Lord we thank You for proving to us everyday that You favor us. We thank You for continuing to have mercy on us, for there are many times we place things before You, ignore Your favor and live life as if we're keeping ourselves. Forgive us for being arrogant, forgive us for being selfish, forgive us for sticking our chest out and saying, "I did it" without considering the fact it is in You that we live, we move and have our being. It's because of You that we are and we owe You the praise!! Father, this morning we're lifting those to You whom we personally pray for everyday. 1. God permits problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God allowing this situation to get your attention?
"Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways. " Proverbs 20:30
2. God permits problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags ... if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God tested your faith by allowing a problem or two into your life? What do problems reveal about you?
"When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3
3. God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something...health, money, a relationship...by losing it.
"It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalms 119:71-72
4. God permits problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. (example: Someone was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem-but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered.)
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good"... Genesis 50:20
5. God permits problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity.
"We can rejoice when we run into problems...they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4
** Here's the point: God is at work in your life-even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him.
Our Father in heaven, God we praise You because we know, through it all we're learning to trust You more; we're learning to depend more on Your Word. We thank You Lord because we know, You are working all things together for our good, because we love You and are the called according to Your purpose. We give You praise for a wonderful day today and we thank You in advance for the favor shown to us today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

O Lord our God, You are holy, O so holy! What a privilege and honor to worship the only true and living God. We bow humbly before You worshiping You because You are love, kind, righteous, just, awesome, true, patient, faithful, omnipotent, omniscience, our Shepherd, our peace, our Comforter, our Lord, our Savior and we thank You for being all that You are to us every second, every minute, and every hour of the day. Lord, we've heard people say, "Without God I would be nothing" and we agreed when it was said, but Lord it is the greatest feeling in the world to come to the place in our lives where we know without a doubt, it's because of You that we are. It's because of You our life is worth living. It's because of You no matter what this day holds we can handle it, because You promised to never leave us. We pray one for another asking You to give us the wisdom to take advantage of the fact that the Comforter is with us. God help each one to know we don't have to make a wrong move today, because the Comforter will lead and guide us. Our Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness, kindness, mercy and grace. We thank You for waking us in our right mind, a mind that tells us because we're still here today, it's time to praise the Lord!!! A mind that tells us to shout hallelujah to the Lord our God, the almighty King! A mind that tells us to be thankful for our lives, our health, our strength, our family and our friends. A mind that tells us we're not still here because You have forgotten about us, but we're still here because we have not yet fulfilled the purpose for which You created us. God help us to know a mind is a terrible thing to waste and it's time to listen to what our minds are telling us and act accordingly. Give us the wisdom to know when the enemy tries to tempt us to go against our right mind, we can ask our Savior to help us yield not to temptation. We confess sometimes we don't listen but rather we go ahead and do things our way; Only to discover doing things our way causes You to have to work our way together for our good. Help us to know often times our struggle is a result of doing things our way, but thanks be to God Who always gives us the victory through Christ Jesus our Lord. This morning my brothers and sisters I would like to use for a subject: “GOD WANTS TO DO A NEW THING”. If you attend church regularly I know you’ve probably heard this sermon text preached over and over. Hearing, God wants to do a new thing to some of us is very exciting. Why? Because we're tired of the "same old, same old". New sounds good and we can't wait to get it! But this morning I woke up singing, “Woke up this morning with my mind stayed on Jesus, hallelu, hallelu, hallelu-u-jah!” Wait, that’s not a new song! Nope it’s not, but it still works.
Then I thought about, “He’s sweet I know, He’s sweet I know. Dark clouds may rise, strong winds may blow, but I’ll tell the world wherever I go, that I have found a Savior and He’s sweet I know.” But wait, the subject is, God Wants To Do A New Thing, that song certainly is not new. Nope, but it still works.
Then another song came to mind, “There is a Name I love to hear, I love to sing it’s worth; It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest Name on earth. Singing, O how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.” OK, that's three songs, none new! Maybe I should change the title of the message, right? Nope! Why? Because the old is still working.
What’s my point? My point is, don’t be in such a hurry to get rid of the old. New is good and we should certainly expect God to continue to do new great things in our lives, but God has given us some old songs with new meaning. When we sang those songs growing up, really we sang the songs with little or no meaning, but the older we get, the more we understand a relationship with the Lord is absolutely necessary; And, the more we know a closer walk with Jesus is necessary, the more the old songs take on new meaning in our lives. Yes, God is doing a new thing!
What’s your favorite hymn? Your favorite "oldie"? Sing it when trouble comes. Sing it when doubt creeps in. Sing it when tempted to do wrong. Sing it throughout this day and today you will experience peace that surpasses all understanding. "You just ask the Savior to help you, comfort, strengthen and keep you; He is willing to aid you and He will carry you through".

Help us this day to concentrate on Your goodness, continue to be thankful and not be distracted by the tricks and schemes of our enemy. Lord, our relationship with You is the most important relationship we will ever have, help us not to be distracted by other relationships that have gone bad, but instead appreciate our relationship with You and work to come closer to You. Lord, open our eyes to see those who are not good for us and give us the courage to let go. Help us to trust You and believe You will not withhold any good thing from us and You're always working all things for our good. Give us the strength to keep our hands off and allow You to work. Good morning Lord! We praise Your Name Lord Jesus! You're our Rock! You're our Fortress! You're our Deliverer! In You Oh Lord do we trust! Thank You for waking us to see another beautiful day. We thank You for yesterday, but we're more excited about today! We're excited because we're expecting more goodness. We're excited because we have new mercies. We're excited because everyday with You Lord is sweeter than the day before. Lord, today is the first day of the best days of our lives and we begin this day worshiping and praising our God Who makes all things new. We're not concerned about how bad our situations may seem, because we trust You! You have always came through for us; You have never let us down and based on Your reputation in our lives, we're looking at our situations and by faith calling them, "GOOD". Lord, today we're expecting great, we're expecting nothing but victory because we're on the winning team. Don't give up.....
One day I decided to quit... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. 'God', I asked, 'Can you give me one good reason not to quit?' His answer surprised me... 'Look around', He said. 'Do you see the fern and the bamboo?' 'Yes', I replied. 'When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said. 'In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.' He said.
'Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.'
He asked me. 'Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots'. 'I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.' 'Don't compare yourself to others,' He said, 'The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.' 'Your time will come', God said to me.
'You will rise high' 'How high should I rise?' I asked. 'How high will the bamboo rise?' He asked in return. 'As high as it can?' I questioned. 'Yes.' He said, 'Give me glory by rising as high as you can.'
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. Never, Never, Never Give up. Here, Lord we ask a special Blessing on Sis. Verlaine Stauffer; give her the strength and courage to never give up.
Our Father we praise You for Who You are and for always knowing and doing what's best for us! We praise You because we're growing stronger and we will rise as high as we can to give glory to You, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for blessing us to see another day. Father, yesterday we celebrated the fact that You raised Jesus from the dead and we praise You today because the celebration is not over! We still celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today and everyday. We celebrate because the blood of Jesus still works today and forevermore, it will never loose its power! We thank You Jesus for loving us so much that You gave Your life in order that we might be saved. We pray for each one who reads this prayer, praying that all see the sense of urgency in sharing Your love. Praying that we realize tomorrow is not promised, so today is the day to have love one to another. Today is the day to share the Good News. Today is the day to let our lights so shine everywhere we go. We're praying for those who are struggling with making a decision to do right; Those who are struggling with making up their minds to do it Your way--give us the courage, wisdom and strength to trust You to give us what we need to make the decision and stand on Your promise that You will never leave us. Help us to know because You're with us, the power to make the decision and stand by it is available to us. Today is the day to rejoice and be glad through it all, today is the day to let nothing stop us from giving praise to the Most High God, not just with our lips, but with the lives we live, we pray for those struggling with spiritual, physical, mental, emotional illnesses, we pray especially for Apostle Berry, Bishop Bonner, Lori Williams, Tawnette Fulton, Barbara Hayes and Mother Shirley Jackson and her husband Bishop Jackson and Johnny Tucker, we ask for divine healing for all of us who are standing in the need of prayer, and the family of Bishop Gregory Dixon as they mourn the loss of their loved one. Lord we pray one for another asking that You will give us the strength to not waste one minute on negative thinking, negative people or negative situations. Help us to think on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely and admirable. Help us to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Give us the courage to purpose in our hearts to keep pressing on, no matter what. It's a beautiful day and it makes no sense to add clouds of confusion, doubt, despair, worry or fear; So if a situation comes that has the potential of causing us to cloudy up our day, give us the strength to use our energy to praise our way through. Our Father in heaven, we thank You for blessing us to see another beautiful day. Although it's raining outside, we thank and praise You for adding the "Sonshine" to our lives. We pray that You will bless each one with traveling grace as we travel up and down the wet and slippery highways. Protect us from hurt, harm and accidents, and let us reach our different destinations safely. Lord, listening to the raindrops fall is comforting and soothing, some of us wish we could stay home and relax, we dread getting out in the rain. But, we thank You for the rain, because if we never had any rain we couldn't enjoy the colorful plant life, the impurities in the air would never be washed away and our food supply would become scarce. Lord, just as the physical rain improves our survival and brings about growth, so it is with the storms of our lives--we don't like going through the storms, but we praise You because after the storms are over, we're stronger, better and wiser. Lord help us to remember, because You are our Father, You will take care of us. Help us not to complain about the rain, but instead thank and praise You in advance for the green trees and grass, the beautiful flowers and fresh air, thank You Lord for always taking good care of us. Lord, whether it's raining or the sun is shinning bright, it's a beautiful day, help us to remember our attitude will determine our altitude, so we're thanking and praising You all the way through, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord help us to remember the victory is not always seen right away with our natural eye, but our faith in You helps us know it with our Spiritual eyes. Father, we pray one for another, asking You to give us the wisdom, strength and courage not to react based on what we see with our natural eye, but instead use our Spiritual eyes to know we can be of good cheer because You have already overcome all that we see with our natural eye. Today we will not let what we "see" get us down, we will not let what we "see" cause us to react negatively, we will not let what we "see" alarm us and cause us to fear, but instead we will use what we "KNOW" -- We "know" we're more than conquerors through Christ Jesus Who loves us. We "know" we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. We "know" greater is He Who's in us than he that's in the world. We "know" God's grace is sufficient for us! So, based on what we "know" we're not going to wait until the day is over to say thank You, but we're going to shout "hallelujah!' right now, for the victory already belongs to us, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Tuesday Morning Prayer - Our Father in heaven, oh how we love You, we worship You, we adore You, we bless You, we lift up Your holy and righteous Name, confessing You are the only true and living God. You, and You alone are worthy of all the praise. We thank You Lord for blessing us to see one more day, it is a day we've never seen before. In fact, all the days of our lives we have never seen one day repeated, nor have we taken the same breath; You are a mighty God and we praise You for being faithful morning by morning. Father, we don't know what this day will bring, but we're excited because we know we belong to the One Who already sees today from beginning to end; And, since You made this day, there is nothing about this day that will intimidate You, nor catch You by surprise. So Lord, today we will recognize Your ever presence in our lives, we will talk to You about everything and trust You in all things. We will not become alarmed, intimidated or distracted by the tricks and schemes of the evil one, but instead we will practice our war cry, "In the Name of Jesus, he is defeated, the devil is defeated!" "In the Name of Jesus, we have the victory!" In the Name of Jesus, no weapon that is formed us against shall prosper! In the Name of Jesus, today is the first day of the best days of our lives! In the Name of Jesus, we're excited about about today and we shall continue to rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.
