TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER: You are holy, O so holy. What a privilege and honor to worship at Your throne. You are faithful, O so faithful! You are worthy, O so worthy. There is no one, nowhere like You and we’re honored because with everything that You are, You love us always, unconditionally. We owe You our obedience, we owe You our faithfulness, we owe You our life and all the praise. We pray each one will purpose in their heart to praise You not just with our lips, but with the life we live. You told us we would have trouble, but You assured us we can be of good cheer because You have overcome them all. Jesus is the sweetest Name we know and we thank You Lord for the privilege, blessing, and benefit to say the Name, Jesus! We pray each one knows Your Name is not to be taken lightly, it’s not to be taken for granted or used in vain; But when we say the Name Jesus we can have great expectations. We pray each one remembers today what it means to belong to the only true and living God. We pray our walk and our talk exemplifies children of the Most High God. We have the victory today because of Who our Father is, so we will walk by faith declaring, “Victory belongs to me in all things!” in Jesus Name, Amen,
We praise You O Lord! We magnify Your Name! We worship You O Lord, for You are the only true and living God. We declare, profess, proclaim and confess there is NONE like You in all the earth! In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Since the beginning God has been doing great things. Look at your life, your testimony has to be, “if it had not been for the Lord on my side, I never would have made it this far.” Yes, we have our ups and downs, we have our good times and not so happy times, but still, through it all God has kept His Word, He has never left us.
The Bible declares, “If God be for us, WHO can be against us?” There is none greater, we have the GREATEST FOR US; So the question is, what are we waiting on? Why are we waiting to take a step or two to realize our dream? Why are we waiting to let go of the things/people we know are hindering us? We have all the help we need, so again, what are we waiting on? Stop with the excuses!
It’s time for us to use what God has given us and get busy! Write the song! Write the book! Share your poetry! Tell your jokes! Start the business! Get the degree! Start the support group! Open the restaurant! Start your daycare! You don’t have the money to start big? Use what you have, start where you are, do what you can and trust God to continue to do great things.
We have work to do, but in order for the work to get done, we have to do the work! Forget about what him, her and they are doing, do what you’re supposed to be doing! If you don’t do your work, your work will go undone.
To all of the distractions, setbacks, sickness, disappointments, discouragement, betrayals ---what shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Don’t worry about what “they” say; Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
Let’s get busy!

What makes you smile? A bright sunny day? The laughter of the children? Sitting watching a movie and eating popcorn? A walk on the beach? What is it? Seeing the flowers bloom? Spending time with family and loved ones? Is it laughing out loud, louder than you’ve ever laughed before? What is it that makes you smile? Is it knowing you have at least one friend who has your back?
Life is beautiful, God is good! We have so many reasons to smile. It’s time we stop letting things that have the potential to take away our smile win. God smiles on us each day we live, so why not smile back at Him? Why not look at the things that seem to be tearing us a part and simply, smile. We can smile because God never stops smiling. God is never intimidated by the things we go through in life, He simply smiles and says, “I got this! I’m working it together for your good.” Then He says, “Will you trust Me enough to smile?”
Often times we take for granted the things and people who make us smile. We trade things that naturally make us smile for things that bring a temporary smile. Don’t do it! Recognize where your smile comes from, appreciate it and smile! We all have issues, problems and distractions, but for right now, forget about it, look back at God and smile! Come on, you can do it, say “cheese” and smile!

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for another blessing to see another new day. Your grace and mercy has brought us through a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to a week filled with new expectations, realized dreams and greater goals; With You the benefits are endless. We pray one for another, asking You to open our eyes that we may see today is a brighter day; It’s brighter because our God is an awesome God. It’s brighter because we know You are working all things together for our good. It’s brighter because we know You are for us and that is more than the whole world against We’re praying for Booker T. Beaford, asking that You draw him closer to You that he may know You as the God Who heals, speak to his situation and grant him healing. Today is a great day and we look to You to carry us to and through victory after victory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
O how we love Jesus! We love You Lord because You first loved us. You loved us and continue to love us knowing everything there is to know about us. Imagine having a conversation with God . . . You: Lord, I asked You for peace, when will I get it?
God: I already gave you that, I took away the confusion, but you followed it.
You: Lord, I asked You to deliver me, how long must I wait? God: I already gave you that, I opened the door for you to walk out, but you seem to enjoy Egypt.
You: Lord, I asked You for patience, it’s getting hard to hold on. God: I already gave you that, the last situation you asked Me to move mightily, I told you to wait. You didn’t like it, but you developed patience, remember?
You: Lord, I asked You to help me praise You more. God: I already gave you blessing after blessing, but you can’t seem to praise Me for now, you always want more.
You: Lord, I need a companion, a good friend, I lack a healthy relationship. God: I already gave you My best, but my best was not “your style”, “too slow”. You chose the one who disrespects you, doesn’t value you and tries to change you.
You: Lord, I want to use the gift You gave me to use, when will I get my opportunity? God: Are you kidding? I gave you the opportunity in your church. On your job. In your neighborhood. At the store. Why don’t you use the simple gifts, your smile, a listening ear, encouraging words—use the simple gifts first and in due time I will exalt you.
God: I’ve given you everything you asked Me for, is it My fault you continue to reject My answer? Is it My fault you don’t recognize “working together for your good?” The good news is, even though I’ve already given you everything you’ve asked for, I am merciful, I’ll do it again. Are you ready this time?

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER: What a Friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and grief to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness, take it to the Lord in prayer. Are we weak and heavy-laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge- take it to the Lord in prayer; Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer; In His arms He’ll take and shield the, thou will find a solace there.
Lord, we’re grateful You know everything there is to know about us; You know our struggle, You know our pain. You know our insecurity, You know our weakness. You know our thoughts, You know our motive. There is nothing we can hide from You. Knowing all You know, You still love us, thank You. We pray one for another, praying today be the day we truly recognize, You already know and You’re ready, willing and able to handle what You know; You’re simply waiting on us to release it to You. LET’S GET BUSY!
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Since the beginning God has been doing great things. Look at your life, your testimony has to be, “if it had not been for the Lord on my side, I never would have made it this far.” Yes, we have our ups and downs, we have our good times and not so happy times, but still, through it all God has kept His Word, He has never left us.
The Bible declares, “If God be for us, WHO can be against us?” There is none greater, we have the GREATEST FOR US; So the question is, what are we waiting on? Why are we waiting to take a step or two to realize our dream? Why are we waiting to let go of the things/people we know are hindering us? We have all the help we need, so again, what are we waiting on? Stop with the excuses!
It’s time for us to use what God has given us and get busy! Write the song! Write the book! Share your poetry! Tell your jokes! Start the business! Get the degree! Start the support group! Open the restaurant! Start your daycare! You don’t have the money to start big? Use what you have, start where you are, do what you can and trust God to continue to do great things.
We have work to do, but in order for the work to get done, we have to do the work! Forget about what him, her and they are doing, do what you’re supposed to be doing! If you don’t do your work, your work will go undone.
To all of the distractions, setbacks, sickness, disappointments, discouragement, betrayals ---what shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Don’t worry about what “they” say; Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
Let’s get busy!

SMILE
What makes you smile? A bright sunny day? The laughter of the children? Sitting watching a movie and eating popcorn? A walk on the beach? What is it? Seeing the flowers bloom? Spending time with family and loved ones? Is it laughing out loud, louder than you’ve ever laughed before? What is it that makes you smile? Is it knowing you have at least one friend who has your back?
Life is beautiful, God is good! We have so many reasons to smile. It’s time we stop letting things that have the potential to take away our smile win. God smiles on us each day we live, so why not smile back at Him? Why not look at the things that seem to be tearing us a part and simply, smile. We can smile because God never stops smiling. God is never intimidated by the things we go through in life, He simply smiles and says, “I got this! I’m working it together for your good.” Then He says, “Will you trust Me enough to smile?”
Often times we take for granted the things and people who make us smile. We trade things that naturally make us smile for things that bring a temporary smile. Don’t do it! Recognize where your smile comes from, appreciate it and smile! We all have issues, problems and distractions, but for right now, forget about it, look back at God and smile!
Come on, you can do it, say “cheese” and smile!

Imagine having a conversation with God . . .
You: Lord, I asked You for peace, when will I get it?
God: I already gave you that, I took away the confusion, but you followed it.
You: Lord, I asked You to deliver me, how long must I wait?
God: I already gave you that, I opened the door for you to walk out, but you seem to enjoy Egypt.
You: Lord, I asked You for patience, it’s getting hard to hold on.
God: I already gave you that, the last situation you asked Me to move mightily, I told you to wait. You didn’t like it, but you developed patience, remember?
You: Lord, I asked You to help me praise You more.
God: I already gave you blessing after blessing, but you can’t seem to praise Me for now, you always want more.
You: Lord, I need a companion, a good friend, I lack a healthy relationship.
God: I already gave you My best, but my best was not “your style”, “too slow”. You chose the one who disrespects you, doesn’t value you and tries to change you.
You: Lord, I want to use the gift You gave me to use, when will I get my opportunity?
God: Are you kidding? I gave you the opportunity in your church. On your job. In your neighborhood. At the store. Why don’t you use the simple gifts, your smile, a listening ear, encouraging words—use the simple gifts first and in due time I will exalt you.
God: I’ve given you everything you asked Me for, is it My fault you continue to reject My answer? Is it My fault you don’t recognize “working together for your good?” The good news is, even though I’ve already given you everything you’ve asked for, I am merciful, I’ll do it again. Are you ready this time?

There is none like You. No one else can touch our heart like You do. We can search throughout eternity and still we won’t fine no one like You. Lord, we praise You for the gift of life. Things may not be as well as we would like it to be, but it is well with our soul because we’re still here to experience it all. We pray each one will show all we come in contact with today how grateful we are to still be here, by glorifying You in our smile, our walk and our talk. We pray each one will pursue peace and know You are for us and that is more than the whole world against us. It’s all good! We’re praying for Jewel Aljuwani as she prepares to enter the operating room. Grant her a perfect surgery, complete healing and a restful recovery. What a Friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and grief to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness, take it to the Lord in prayer. Are we weak and heavy-laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge- take it to the Lord in prayer; Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer; In His arms He’ll take and shield the, thou will find a solace there.
Lord, we’re grateful You know everything there is to know about us; You know our struggle, You know our pain. You know our insecurity, You know our weakness. You know our thoughts, You know our motive. There is nothing we can hide from You. Knowing all You know, You still love us, thank You. We pray one for another, praying today be the day we truly recognize, You already know and You’re ready, willing and able to handle what You know; You’re simply waiting on us to release it to You. Help us trust You and let IT go, in Jesus Name, Amen.
