This is absolutely awful. Her Son should be very ashamed of himself leaving his defenseless Mom out in the cold and without her home. I hope and pray that she will get it back and that another family member will step in to help her from now on!!
There's nothing like your "Home Sweet Home"!!
Love and Blessings, Phoebe
As of Sept. 16---Mother Texana Hollis was out of the hospital and is staying with a long time friend, Pollian Cheeks, 68 who attended Mother Hollis's Sunday School class as a young lady. While Mother Hollis is getting her strenght back, HUD has payed the taxes, removed the padlocks and is allowing her to stay in her home as long as she wants. A Community Group called (It takes a Village Y'all) is cleaning up the house and trying to replace the items that were lost during the eviction. Mother Hollis knows nothing about the taxes or insurance payments and she has praised Warren Hollis "Warren is good. That's my baby" She looks well and her voice is strong. Our prayers are with her. It takes a villege Y'all has a face book page.
