To develop an Attitude of Gratitude, it only takes moments. This Apache Journal Group was created for you as a tool to deepen your expression of gratitude. Use it as a regular practice (daily, weekly, monthly, anytime) to bring your awareness to the joy and beauty that is abundant for us on this Earth. For any Thing, Being, Feeling or Event, big or small... every thanks you give ripples out like a pebble and sends waves across the water. You may create your own private gratitude journal or post publicly below to inspire others and let the world know how much there is to be thankful for. Creating a Journal can produce healthy effects on your body, your happiness and the world.

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.

I thank God for His goodness and mercy to me and my family. I thank God for all the wonderful people I have met on the internet. I thank God for this Aluni Group, it has been a blessing to be able to reconnect. I am proud to be an Apache and I am proud to have grown up in Compton.

GRATITUDE

Many people will walk in and out of your life.....,

..... but only true friends will leave footprints on your heart !!

I am blessed to wake up another day in my right mind. I am learning to enjoy life and just grateful for all that God has done and will do for me.

Thanks Phoebe, great group!

I'm grateful to all the Apaches who leave a message on my page, especially on special days like my  Birthday,  a Holiday, or on any day. It means a lot to  be thought of and it is much appreciated by me, but it is just as important to thank others and not take their generosity for you for granted.

Happy Thursday Apaches!

Peace out, Reggie

Phoebe, thanks for these wonderful quotes.

I love #26 : “Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy — because we will always want to have something else or something more.”
