Lord we thank You for opening our eyes to see a new day. We thank You for blessing us throughout yesterday and watching over us last night. Father, we recognize we are truly blessed to have the only true and living God in our lives. We're blessed because we are all equally important to You; You don't have favorites, You love us all the same. Even when we mess up Your love to us does not change. Your love to us corrects, directs, leads, guides, forgives, chastises--Your love to us is truly amazing and for this we give You praise. Lord help us to love and trust You enough to know when things are falling apart in our lives, that's when You're arranging things the way You want it. Give us the courage and wisdom to not want to hang on to the old arrangements in our lives but trust You to make all things new. Help us to surrender our lives to You and commit to praising You by being who You created us to be. It's a new and different day today, but we praise You Lord because the same God Who brought us through yesterday is the same God in control today, so we will trust You today. When the enemy comes against us, help us yield not to temptation and give us the strength to say, "Lord, I trust You". It's a great day today and we're thanking You in advance for the great things in store for us, we give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Steps To Happiness

Everybody Knows:
You can't be all things to all people.
You can't do all things at once.
You can't do all things equally well.
You can't do all things better than everyone else.
Your humanity is showing just like everyone else's.

So:

You have to find out who you are, and be that.
You have to decide what comes first, and do that.
You have to discover your strengths, and use them.
You have to learn not to compete with others,
Because no one else is in the contest of *being you*.

Then:

You will have learned to accept your own uniqueness.
You will have learned to set priorities and make decisions.
You will have learned to live with your limitations.
You will have learned to give yourself the respect that is due.
And you'll be a most vital mortal.

Dare To Believe:

That you are a wonderful, unique person.
That you are a once-in-all-history event.
That it's more than a right, it's your duty, to be who you are.
That life is not a problem to solve, but a gift to cherish.
And we'll be able to stay one up on what used to get us.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER

Praise the Name of Jesus! From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same, Your Name is to be praised! For every mountain, You've brought us over; For every valley, You've seen us through; For every blessing, hallelujah!!! For this we give You praise!! We praise You Lord for all You've done for us and we worship You for Who You are! Father we thank You for being the same yesterday, today and forever, You change not. People change, situations change, seasons change, hardly nothing in our life remains the same, but we can always depend on You to be the same loving, kind, merciful, and just God. You have been faithful all the days of our life, even when we changed up on You, even when we decided to figure things out for ourselves, You never left us, but You remained right there and waited patiently for us to realize You do all things well and You always plan for what's best for us. We pray one for another, asking that You continue to draw us closer to You and help us to realize You desire a real, true, genuine relationship with us, all we need to do is love You back. Take some time to get to know You, spend quality time with You, think about all that You have done for us and appreciate You by living a life that points back to You, a life that glorifies You. This is the day that our Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

READ: Psalm 118:19-29

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24

In a morning meeting I recently attended, the person who opened the gathering began by praying, “Lord, thanks for today. It is the beginning of a new day we have never seen before.” Although the idea seemed obvious, that prayer got me thinking about a couple of different things. First, because each day is a new opportunity, it will be filled with things we cannot anticipate or even prepare for. Therefore, it’s important that we recognize our limitations and lean heavily on God—intentionally choosing to live in His grace and strength rather than relying on our own resources.

The second thing that occurred to me is that the newness of each day is a gift worth celebrating. Perhaps this concept was what prompted the psalmist to declare, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Ps. 118:24).

Of course, we face many unknowns today—and some could be difficult. But the treasure of each brand-new day is so special that Moses was led to write, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (90:12). Every new day is a precious gift. May we thankfully embrace each one with confident trust and humble celebration. —quoted

He whose heart is kind beyond all measure Gives unto each day what He deems best— Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure, Mingling toil with peace and rest. —quoted

Each new day gives us new reasons to praise the Lord.

Peace & Blessings to all

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for the gift of life. We thank You Lord because we know it is in You that we live, we move and have our being. We thank You Lord because we know without You there is no way we could live. Without You there is no way we could love or be loved. Without You there is no way we could walk, talk, hear, see, taste, smell, rhyme or reason--You are the source of our strength and the strength of our lives, so we lift our hands in total praise to You. Lord we thank You because You keep doing great things for us; You keep extending new mercy morning by morning; You keep giving us chance after chance to decide it's time we place our lives in Your hands and let Your will be done in our lives--You keep doing great things and right now we offer praise to You, with a shout out to the Most High God, hallelujah!!! Today there will be no whining, complaining, arguing, fussing, gossiping, or putting anyone down; Instead we will speak words that bring life, words that encourage, words that uplift, for we recognize our words are powerful! We praise You Lord for this beautiful day that You have made and we purpose in our hearts right now to rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Broken Dreams

As children bring their broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because He was my friend.

But then instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried,
"How could you be so slow"
"My child," He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."
God, we praise You for this day and we thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. We ask today that You will give us the strength and courage to let go and allow You to have Your way in our lives. Help us to trust Your Word, "Eyes have not seen, neither ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things You have prepared for those of us who love You." All that You have prepared for us is Your plan and Your plan only works if we let go of our way and trust Your way. Lord, we thank You for this first day of the best days of our lives and we believe by faith, the best is yet to come! We give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for blessing us to see another beautiful day. We praise You Lord for all that You have done for us, are doing for us and will do for us. We worship You Lord for Who You are--You are our provider. You are our protector. You are our peace. You are our friend. You are our reigning King. You are everything we need You to be, because You are the Great I Am! Father, this morning we're praying for Cheryl Wideman, asking for a mighty healing touch from You. We're praying one for another, asking You to bless each one with the blessings we stand in the need of and help us to know, more than we need anything or anybody, we need a closer walk with You. More than anything we need to experience a true love affair with You, but that love affair will not come if our desire is to take all You will give, and not appreciate ALL that You already gave. Your love to us is amazing, it never stops. You are the only One in our lives who has loved us unconditionally always, no matter what. You've done everything possible to show us how much You love us, then You proposed to us and asked us to be completely Yours--help us to know the rest is up to us. Give us the courage to surrender our will and accept Your proposal. Thank You Lord for all that You've done for us, we give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Bishop Willie W. Williams
