FRIDAY MORNING PRAYER AND INSPIRATION:

GOD'S BOXES

I have in my hands two boxes, Which God gave me to hold.  He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold."  I heeded His words, and in the two boxes, both my joys and sorrows I stored.
But though the gold became heavier each day, the black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black, I wanted to find out why, And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.  I showed the hole to God, and mused, "I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled a gentle smile and said, "My child, they're all here with me.."
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes, Why the gold and the black with the hole?  "My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings, the black is for you to let go."

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for the two boxes You have given us; we pray for the wisdom, courage and strength to know what to hold on to and what we must let go.  You told us to cast our cares upon You for You care for us, help us Lord to trust You, and come to the realization that we are not strong enough to carry the pressures, concerns and cares of life.   Help us to be convinced, Your grace is sufficient for us, for when we are weak, then are we strong--for Your strength is made perfect in our weakness.  Father today, help us to let go and let You have Your way.  We thank You for this beautiful day and we will rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:

We worship You Almighty God, there is none like You.  We worship You O Prince of Peace, that is what we long to do.  We give You praise because You are our righteousness.  We worship You Almighty God, there is none like You.   Thank You Lord for blessing us to see this day, it's another day that we have never seen before.  The fact of the matter is, all the days of our lives we have never seen one day repeated---Great is Thy faithfulness at continuing to be creative.   You are a mighty, loving, merciful, compassionate God and we thank You for being faithful at loving us, no matter what.   God, when trouble comes we thank You for making us feel safe and secure.  When sickness creeps in, we thank You for assuring us that You are the Great Physician.   When doubt tries to crawl in, we thank You for Your reputation in our lives to remind us that You've done it before and because You're the same yesterday, today and forever, You will do it again.    Father, there are some who are experiencing trying times, help them to remember the last time You brought them out and give them a praying-praising spirit.  Give them a "shout-right-now" faith, thanking You in advance for the victory.   We pray a special prayer for Veta Oden, asking You to move mightily in her life and grant healing, we ask also for strength, healing, and steadfastness for Apostle Rebecca Washington-Berry; speak to her heart and give her the assurance that the vision is yet true and the time is now to run with it..   Bless each eye that reads this prayer with the blessings they stand in the need of and give us all a "shout-right-now" faith.   We give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for the blessing and privilege to see another day.  We thank You for keeping us throughout yesterday and we thank You in advance for Your same keeping power today.  Yesterday we didn't do all we were supposed to do and we did some things we shouldn't have done, so right now we ask that You will forgive us for our sins and we thank You for giving us another chance to say yes to Your will today.   We pray one for another, asking that You will heal the sick, comfort the bereaved, strengthen the weak, give courage to the weary and help us all to lean and depend on You for whatever we're standing in the need of.   We pray a special prayer for Pat's continued recovery and that You will strengthen him and his family to trust You no matter what the outcome.  Lord, You are good and we praise You because Your mercy endures forever!    Today is a good day to purpose in our hearts to put the past behind us and press forward.  It's a good day to forgive and let go.  It's a great day to be grateful for what we have.  It's a great day to offer a smile to strangers we meet on the street.  It's a great day to let the Jesus in us out for all around us to see.  We thank You Lord for this day, for it is a good day to be the best "me" that You created us to be.  We're rejoicing. smiling and praising You for today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, You are holy.  You are righteous.  You are faithful.  You are sovereign.  You are mighty.  You are loving.  You are kind.  You are compassionate.  You are awesome.   Lord, You are all that and so much more!  We love You for being all that You are to us and for always being so good to us.   We thank You Lord for giving us our daily bread.  We thank You for giving us the courage to forgive others, even if they don't ask for forgiveness.   We thank You Lord for giving us the strength to resist temptation and for always providing a way of escape from evil.   Lord, You always provide strength and courage to do what we need to do, but we must confess sometimes we foolishly want to do things our way; Even in those times You never turn Your back on us, but instead You're right there extending Your mercy and grace.  Thank You Lord!   God, this morning we just want to say thank You for never giving up on us.  Thank You for always loving and forgiving us.  Thank You for the plan You have for our lives and for working it all together for our good.   Thank You Lord for this first day of the best days of our lives, we shall rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for waking us to see a brand new day.  We thank You for a wonderful weekend and we look forward to a truly wonderful victorious week.   We thank You Lord for Your amazing grace that continues to look beyond all of our faults, our mess, our mishaps, our disobedience, our stubborness---You look beyond it all and faithfully see our needs.  You look beyond it all and not only do You see the best in us, but You continue to bring out the best in us.   Help us this day to remember to give thanks in everything, believing we can give thanks to You because we know through it all we're learning to lean on You more and more.  Through it all, we're becoming more convinced that You do all things well.  Through it all we're learning to trust and depend on Your Word, and we believe You will never let us down.   Bless each one who reads this prayer with the blessings we're standing in the need of.  Bless our family and friends, guard their hearts and minds from the attack of the enemy, build a hedge of protection all around them and keep them safe.  Father, we're continuing to pray for Charles Crawford, Fred Jingles, David Whitfield and Bobbi Shaw, asking for a mighty move from You in their lives.  This is the day that the Lord has made and we purpose in our hearts to rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Good morning Lord!   It's another great day that You have blessed us to see and we begin this day by saying, "Thank You!"   We thank You Lord for our life, health and strength.  We thank You for family and friends.  We thank You for transportation and means to take care of ourselves.  We thank You for calling us "friend"  and for always being the best friend we could ever ask for.   Today we have no complaints and we don't come asking for anything, we just want to thank You for all You've done for us, are doing for us and will do for us.  We're blessed, we're blessed, we're blessed and we're taking the time out right now to say, "Thank You" and to offer praise to You.   We give You praise, in Jesus Name, amen.
