FRIDAY INSPIRATION & PRAYER:

Your past does not define you, God did when He created you!   We pray you're inspired by this direct quote from the book, "Me Inside Out" . . .

 

Jesus asked the disciples a very important question, "Who do men say that I am?"  (Mark 8:27) And, the disciples gave the answers they heard other people say about Jesus.  Then Jesus asked the most important question, "But, who do you say that I am?"   This question Jesus continues to ask today, "Who do you say that I am?"  It is a personal question, one that can only be answered by you.  The second most important question you must answer is, "Who do you say that you are?"  Because who you say you are, is what you will display to all, and consequently, what you display is what others will believe about you.

 

Each day of your life, through your actions, you are speaking who you are; and people will form an opinion of who you are, based on what you speak to them; and they will treat you according to how you speak to be treated.   If your actions speak, "I love myself", "I respect myself", then you will attract love and respect.  But, if your actions speak, "I am wounded, used and abused", then you will attract those who will use and abuse you.  Get the picture?

 

Going to Church is great, but reality is Churches are filled with people who have read the Bible, they know the Word of God, they say they believe the Word of God, but yet they have allowed what happened in their past to overshadow the Word of God.  Consequently, their past experiences have become the authority by which all decisions are made, making God's promises null and void in their lives.   Listen, you cannot allow your past experiences to be greater than the promises of God.

 

Who do you say that you are?  Your actions speak louder than words.

Lord, we praise You because we know it is in You that we live, we move and have our being.  You breathed the breath of life in to us and because You are the Great I Am, that makes us great!   We are who You say we are and we will live this day in greatness because the Great One lives inside of us!   We expect the GREAT, in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Thank You Lord for another beautiful day that You have blessed us to see!   We thank You Lord for all that You have done, are doing and will do for us.  We thank You Lord because we know it is in You that we live, we move and have our being and it's because of You that we know what we know, we have what we have, we are where we are and wherever we'll go, we praise You because You will be the One to take us there.    This morning we pray a special prayer for Pat Haeney as he prepares to go in for surgery, God first we ask that You will draw him closer to You that he may experience Your peace, then guide the surgeons hand, move mightily and provide a healing touch.  We are praying for the Clegg family; we pray one for another, we all are standing in the need of something, some need healing, some need a financial blessing, some need peace, some need strength to let go, some need a closer walk with You, some need direction, some need listening ears and a willing spirit---touch, heal and deliver Lord in a mighty way.  We praise You Father because today is the first day of the best days of our lives and we're starting it off rejoicing and being glad in it.   We thank You Lord in advance for the victory today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father, we thank You for another beautiful day of life.  We thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. We thank You for Your everlasting unconditional love to us and we thank You for calling us, friend.   Lord, we ask that You will help us to remember today what it means to be called Your friend.  Thank You Lord for being our best friend.  Being Your friend is being the recipient of the Greatest Love of all.  Being Your friend is confidence in knowing we're always protected and surrounded with Your peace.   Increase our understanding of Who You are and give us the wisdom to never replace our best friend.  God, we ask that You will continue to draw us closer to You, so we will know, the safest place in all the world is within Your will.   Bless us this day with the blessings we stand in the need of; Lead, guide and direct our paths and give us the wisdom, courage and strength to follow where You lead, we give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.
