WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

O Lord, our God, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth!    Lord, we don’t look to the hills, but we look to You, knowing our help comes from You.   We know it is in You we live, move and have our being.   We know if it had not been for You on our side we would not have made it this far.    You are a mighty God and because of all we know, we lift our hands in total praise to You.   Lord, we ask You to see our heart right now, see our desire, see our request and see our need.   Help each one to know it is a privilege to carry everything to You in prayer.   Help each one to know we can come to You anytime, it’s not our tears, it’s not our begging,  it’s not our sad story that moves Your hand, but You move according to our faith.    Lord we believe there is nothing too hard for You, strengthen each one to come to You and trust You to move mightily.   This is the day our faithful God has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus Name, Amen

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:
Lord we thank You. Lord we give You praise. Lord we bless Your holy Name, for truly, truly, certainly, certainly, You are the only true and living God and we are blessed to know You. We thank You for the gift of life. We believe we’re alive today because there are some things we still need to do in order for You to be glorified. So Lord be glorified in our life today in all that we say and do. We pray each one has the courage to say yes to Your will. We pray each one will smile more today and purpose in our heart to be a blessing to someone else. We’re praying for Norma Galvez, asking that You speak healing to her body. Draw her closer to You that she may know You love her and let her experience Your peace. We’re also praying for the family of Willie Mae Love as they rejoice in knowing she has fought a good fight (95 years!) and finished her course. We pray Your love rules their heart and Your peace will continue to surround them. We’re excited about this day and we look forward to great things, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:
We bless the Name of Jesus! Our Rock! Our Fortress! Our Deliverer! In You O Lord do we trust. We thank You Lord for another beautiful day. We thank You for the heat of the sun, the wetness of the rain, and the coldness of the snow; Whatever the climate, we thank You because we’re still alive to experience it all. We shall not complain today because everything could absolutely be worse than what we think it is now. We’re praying for the family of Annie R. Roberts as they cope with her passing, grant them peace and help them remember their joy. We pray they take comfort in the fact that she loved You with all her heart, so we know where her final resting place is. We pray one for another, asking for Your continued blessings. We pray each one will remember what they were thankful for Thanksgiving day and realize today is a good day to still be thankful. We pray each one will do something today in the direction of purpose, and know without a shadow of doubt, nobody else can do what You created each one of us to do. We praise the Name of Jesus, Amen.

From: "The Daily Word Publication"

It can sometimes be difficult for human beings to trust one another. Trust requires willingness to surrender and to be open and vulnerable.

In learning to trust, I begin by trusting the Divine within. By placing my trust in God, I will never be led astray. this does not mean that I adopt a passive attitude. Rather, it means being alert and responsive to divine wisdom and discernment, to love and beauty, to divine order and truth. As i do, I learn to trust myself to judge rightly and act on the wisdom that I receive.

Spirit will guide me to people and experiences that bless me, and I will find others with whom I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts, ideas, and feelings. As I trust, a world of blessings opens up to me.

"I open my life as I trust the wisdom of God."

Praying for all Alumni and their families who stand in need of prayer and special prayers go out to Bishop Willie Williams', his family and his ministry, in Jesus Name, Amen.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:
THE MESSAGE

Which do you prefer? Reel to Reel? 8-Track? Cassette? CD? Or MP3? If the message is the same, does the delivery method matter? It’s all a matter of what you prefer. We do a lot of arguing, fussing, disagreeing, falling out and leaving over the method, but if the message is the same what difference does it make?

My son is 27, so his delivery method is absolutely different than mines, so if I want to hear what he’s saying I have to take the time to listen. The more I listen to him the more I discover, it’s the same message!

She says, “I aint gonna do that”. You say, “I’m not going to do that”. Same message, different method of delivery, is it worth a big argument? Is it worth you correcting and possibly offending her because her method is different than yours? Why can’t we accept one another for who we are, and know we are all different? It’s actually the way God designed it to be.

Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another”. The message is, “LOVE”. You like this, I don’t like that, what is the big deal? It’s all a matter of preference, no big deal. Let us remember the message.

Beloved, let us love one another.
