These are Standard prices for these popular items as follows:
Half-way through your sale (if not sooner), you need to take a step back and assess the situation. If items are selling, then you probably don’t need to do anything differently.
But if you’ve hardly sold anything — or you just want to blow-out the rest of the items that haven’t sold yet — then consider having a “1/2 Off Sale!”
This makes your sale fun and unique too.
How? Simply post some signs — on COLORFUL cardboard or paper. Some phrases to consider are “Everything must go!”… “1/2 Price Sale Til 4PM”… “All Prices 1/2 Off!”
I’d recommend you print up some signs for this purpose ahead of time — just in case.
Or, if it’s late in the day, and you see someone looking at a particular item for a few minutes longer than most, yet they don’t buy it. Before they leave, offer that item to them at 1/2-price. Most of the people I’ve done this with will actually buy it at the lower price!
(DON'T FORGET THAT SELLING YOUR THINGS ONLINE IS A GREAT IDEA & ALSO HAVING YARD SALES, GARAGE SALES, RUMMAGE SALES ARE GREAT SCHOOL FUNDRAISING IDEAS!!)
The early bird gets the worm, but the late bird gets the closeouts!

A BIG YARD SALE @ CENTENNIAL IS A GREAT IDEA!!!!! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!
I REMEMBER WHEN WILLOWBROOK HAD A CAR WASH FOR THE HONOR SOCIETY. I WENT TO HELP MY OLDEST SISTER. I WORKED SO HARD THEY TOLD ME TO SIT DOWN AND TAKE A BREAK. IT WAS FUN!!!!
HAVE A WONDERFUL MONDAY!!!
Thanks for your comments Andrea, Ana, Tiffany & Tawnette,
I've only had one or two Yard Sales of my own; but I thought that it would be a great way in these lean times (recession) for Apaches to think about earning extra money for themselves by selling things in their homes that they do not use anymore. It may help them to pay a bill or put more groceries on the table. Things can be sold all kinds of ways nowadays (online, in consignment stores, outside yard sales, etc.). I also thought that it would be a fantastic (future idea) for the C.H.S.A.A. (Centennial High School Alumni Association) to think about one day having a large Yard Sale Fundraiser (perhaps in the Parking Lot) of the school to raise money for the students at Centennial High. I remember back-in-the-day we use to have Car Wash Fundraisers in the Parking Lot of Centennial to raise money for our Class Reunions and this was before (recession times) smile....!!
Hey Tawnette, I love finding bargains too!!
Thanks again Ladies and enjoy your weekend!!
Love and Blessings, Phoebe
