THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

WISDOM

We must pray daily for wisdom. Wisdom means having clear understanding and insight. It means knowing how to apply the truth in every situation. It's discerning what is right and wrong. It's having good judgment. It's being able to sense when you are getting too close to the edge. It's making the right choice or decision. And only God knows what that is. "When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come" (John 16:13). We have no idea how many times simple wisdom has saved our lives or kept us out of harm's way or how many times it will do so in the future. That's why we can't live without it and need to ask God for it. We have to pray, "Lord give me wisdom in all I do. Help me to walk in wisdom every day."

10 Ways To Walk In Wisdom
01- Be in the word of God (Proverbs:2:1-2,5)
02-Pray for wisdom (James 1:5)
03-Acknowledge the Lord in everything (Proverbs 3:6)
04- Walk in reverence of God (Proverbs 9:10)
05-Listen to wise people (Proverbs 22:17)
06-Value wisdom above all (Proverbs 4:5-6)
07-Walk in obedience (Proverbs 2:7)
08-Be humble (Proverbs 11:2)
09-Love your neighbor (Proverbs 11:12)
10-Seek the wisdom of God, not the wisdom of the world (1 Corinthians 1:30, 1:20-21)
