"JUST BECAUSE"

Just because no one has been fortunate
enough to realize what a gold mine you are,
doesn't mean you shine any less.

Just because no one has been smart enough
to figure out that you can't be topped, doesn't
stop you from being the best.

Just because no one has come along to share
your life, doesn't mean that day isn't coming.

Just because no one has made this race
worth while, doesn't give you permission
to stop running.

Just because no one has realized how much
of a woman or man that you are, doesn't mean that they can
affect your femininity or your masculinity.

Just because no one has come to take the
loneliness away, doesn't mean you have to
settle for a lower quality.

Just because no one has shown up who
can love you on your level, doesn't mean
you have to sink to theirs.

Just because you deserve the very best
there is, doesn't mean that life is always fair.

Just because God is still preparing your
King or Queen, doesn't mean that you're not already
a Queen or King.

Just because your situation doesn't seem
to be progressing right now, doesn't mean
you need to change a thing.

Keep shining,
Keep running,
Keep hoping,
Keep praying,
Keep being exactly what you are already--

COMPLETE!

The Gift of Time

Time is a priceless gift
to use
And mold into the soul
Something creative and
lasting
That keeps life pure and whole.

Each second of every minute
Is cast upon life's screen.
Only the wise grasp and use it;
Fools let it pass unseen.

"QUOTES & VERSES"

Count your life by smiles not tears,
Count your age by friends not years.

Beautiful young people are acts of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.

If things get better with age,
Then you are approaching Magnificent.

Few women admit their age,
Few men act theirs.

A day hemmed with prayer;
Is unlikely to unravel.

TIME IS SHORT (Poem)

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round
Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Do you run through each day on the fly
When you ask "How are you?" do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, and let a good friendship die
'Cause you never had time to call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away...
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Thought For The Day:

Joke: "THE HUSBAND STORE"

A brand new store has just opened in New York City that sells Husbands. When women go to choose a husband, they have to follow the instructions at the entrance:

"You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are 6 floors and the value of the products increase as you ascend the flights. You may choose any item from a particular floor or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you CANNOT go back down except to exit the building!"

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.

The 1st floor sign reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs.

The 2nd floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

The 3rd floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the 4th floor and The sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help with Housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the 5th floor and The sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, help with Housework and Have A Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the 6th floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

Joke: "FRUIT CAKE RECIPE" - Guaranteed to lift your spirits!!

You'll need the following: four large eggs, two cups of dried fruit, a teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of salt, a cup of brown sugar, lemon juice, nuts, and a bottle or two of rum.

Before you start, sample the rum to check for quality. If it's good, let's get started.

Take a large bowl, and a measuring cup. Check the rum again. To be sure it is the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer; beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one seapoon of thugar, and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure the rum has retained it's fine quality. Cry another tup. Open a second quart if necessary.

Turn off the mixer. Break two arge leggs, and add to the bowl, and chuck in the cup of fried druit. Mix on the turner, and beat till high. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the rum to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of pepper or salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the rum. Now sift the lemon juice, and strain the nuts. Fold in some chopped butter. Add one table. Spoon. Of brown thugar or whatever color you can find.

Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350 gredees. Don't for get to beat off the turner. Now pour the whole mess into the coven and ake. Feed to your goat. Check the rum again, and bo to ged. (hee, hee, hee, smile.....)

Poem: "SOUL JOURNEY"
By Anonymous

We've worn our many hats and faces,
Expressed our many airs and graces,
Have played our parts and lived our roles
On every stage as scenes unfold.
As Kings and Queens we've graced these lands,
As thieves and rogues we've played our hand,
We've danced and dined, cried and whined,
We've carried on with clouded minds.
Each stage has been a lifetime true,
And often God we ‘mimicked you,
In search of that which we all seek,
A world inherited by the meek.
We've lost, we've laughed, we've healed and shared,
We've blessed the poor, we've loved and cared,
We've listened to the words of ‘man'
That tried to thwart the divine plan.
Each life experience has come and gone
We've seen the ‘right through all the wrong.'
We've grown and mellowed with each span,
We merge and meld as best we can.
Each day we now affirm our aim,
We pledge ourselves to bless your name,
With love and gratitude and might,
We now emerge with strength and light .
. . To walk as one with Mother Earth
And into higher realms re-birth,
To realize now our pathway home,
" T O G E T H E R N E S S " and not alone.
We ready now ourselves once more,
Poised to enter that open door,
Where all shall see the promised land,
And grasp indeed your outstretched hand.
So now we enter the final days
As these ‘end times' fulfill their phase,
When change once more is but the norm,
As love and light create the dawn.
The dawn of co-creativity,
The light now shines so gloriously,
And those that choose the ‘rightful path'
Will all succeed and joy surpass.
There is no right, there is no wrong,
There is but one eternal song -
Let's raise our hearts and minds once more
And enter in that ‘kingdom sure,
Lets gravitate where we need be
And live our lives in reverie.
Acknowledging Almighty Source
And in perfection stay the course....

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS A BLESSED DAY AND WEEK!!

"DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE"
© By Anonymous

When your headed down that road,

make a right on Believe Boulevard,

Keep straight and go through the

green light, which is Jesus Christ.

There you must turn onto the

bridge of Faith, which is over

Troubled Water.

When you get off the bridge make a

right and keep straight, you are

now on Kings Highway Heaven bound!

Keep going for three miles:: One

for the Father, One for the Son,

and One for the Holy Spirit.

Then exit off to Grace Boulevard.

From there, make a right turn onto

Gospel Lane.

Keep straight and make another

right onto Prayer Road.

As you go on your way, yield not

to the traffic on Temptation

Avenue and avoid Sin Street

because they are nothing but Dead

Ends.

On that note, pass up Envy Drive,

Hate Avenue, Hypocrisy Court,

Gossiping Lane, and Backbiting

Boulevard for these roads take you

off your route.

However, you must go down

Longsuffering Lane, Persecution

Boulevard, and Trials and

Tribulations Avenue.

But that's all right because

Victory Street is straight ahead!

AMEN

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

IMPORTANT INFO: "STAY SAFE"

This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology.

(This was e-mailed to me by a friend. You may have read it already; but it does not hurt to read it again)!!

GPS

A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had
their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was
parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and
specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included
a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been
prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been
ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.
The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then
used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain
entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football
game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so
they knew how much time they had to clean out the house.. It would
appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home
address in it. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you
can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know
where you live if your GPS were stolen.

MOBILE PHONES
I never thought of this.......

This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on
her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which
contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet... etc...was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling
him what had happened, hubby says 'I received your text asking
about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago.'

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the
money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen
cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin
number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their
bank account.

Moral of the lesson:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in
your contact list.

Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad,
Mom, etc....

And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts,
CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being text by friends or family to meet them
somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came
from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places
to meet 'family and friends' who text you.

*PLEASE PASS THIS ON
* I never thought about the above!
As of now, I no longer have 'home' listed on my cell phone.

"A true friend is someone who thinks you are a good egg
even though they know you are slightly cracked."

Love and Blessings, Phoebe Macon
