(I posted this statement on September 5, 2010 and would like to Repost it)!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH WAYNE WARE,

For extolling and shining a light on the many triumphs and accolades of the many Centennial Sr. High School "Apaches" Alumni from the "Big Ten" in Compton, California. I appreciate that you included me as a part of it. This CHS ALUMNI WEBSITE was long overdue. I am so glad to be an Alumni Member, to participate, and to be a part of our CHS ALUMNI WEBSITE. God bless you Wayne Ware, and I fervently hope that this CHS ALUMNI WEBSITE will continue to grow, mature, and advance by leaps and bounds. All the best to you always!!
Love and Blessings, Your Classmate and FFL (Friend For Life) Phoebe Macon c/o '75

David Pinedo,
Can you tell us which of the Inductees names are wrong and should not be included? In the future when making statements of those you are accusing can you be more specific? If not please keep your thoughts to yourself. Thanks!

Antwon "Twon"

P.S. I second the comments of Sis.Jacqueline and Big Thanks and Shout-out to Webmaster Wayne Ware for all of his hard and tireless work in bringing us together!

David,
I really think that your note is very NEGATIVE AND IS VERY RUDE. If you wish to leave NEGATIVITY about the Inductees then you could have easily left it in a private e-mail. THIS IS AN AWESOME AND A FANTASTIC WEBSITE', ONE THAT NO OTHER ALUMNUS TOOK UPON THEMSELVES TO CREATE. Even though their may be a few names that may not have officially graduated from our Alma Mater Centennial High School, at one time or another I'm sure that they started out at the Big Ten and then went to another School. We all know how the saying goes, "Once an Apache, always an Apache". DAVID PINEDO PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU SO RUDELY START TO MAKE YOUR NEGATIVE AND WRONG COMMENTS. I HOPE THAT YOU WILL COME BACK AND MAKE AN APOLOGY TO ALL OF US HERE WHO ARE HERE IN GOOD FAITH OR IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT HERE THEN YOU ARE FREE TO LEAVE. Are you even a true Apache or just a rabble-rouser? This is exactly why Black People cannot get ahead because they always want to pull down the Black person who is trying to do something that is GOOD. Now if you want to nominate a candidate there is a way to do it. If you received the e-mail like everyone else did then you should know how to nominate that person the correct way like the others did.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO WERE "RESPECTFULLY" NOMINATED, OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE NOTEWORTHY OR DEEMED WORTHY OR THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN TO ALL OF THE 2010 ALUMNI INDUCTEES (GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND ALL OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS)!!

Jacqueline . "Jacq." B.

Apaches,
I have just joined the C.H.S.A.A. as an Honorary Alumni member; I am looking forward to working with some of the groups, as well as helping Centennial. I would also like to send my Congrats to the inductees, though I see some names that did not Graduate from the 'Ten or to my knowledge attended the 'Ten. I attended another Compton High School with one of the inductees. I would have liked to have seen Timothy Lewis' name on the list. He is also a Doctor and is a Centennial Alumnus from the C'74. I have seen other schools create a Hall of Fame; the inductees were notables either in the political, medical, science, sports or entertainment, community activist genres. Many have done their part at their workplace, does this constitute being on a Hall of Fame? I feel this is much like a popularity list. I would feel better having a few that did notable activities, rather than simply creating a long list, where some persons did illegal activities. I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, I feel with more scrutiny, a list to be proud of, can be developed.

Keep up the great work that all of you are doing. Bro. Wayne Ware don't forget to include yourself. I'm sure that others have already nominated you but you should definitely be a part of this list also. You have done so much in the Car (Black Drag Racers) world, as well as your many entrepreneural businesses. The Centennial High Alumni.com website is the place where all Centennial High School Alumni should be.
Thanks again for the Centennial High Alumni.com website and the Big Ten '75 website. Great job my friend!(smile)

Brother Wayne Ware,
I am really enjoying the website. You have left no stone unturned. Thanks Brother for getting the word out about this website, and gathering us Alumni alltogether in one place. And as Miss Phoebe has already stated I feel blessed to be a part of something that is truly good, especially something that is ours and something coming from our Alma Mater from the Great City of Compton. I don't care what nobody says about Compton, Compton is still a Great City. Just look at all the Good & Successful People/Alumni that have come from our Big Ten Centenniial Senior High School. God bless!
