CLASS OF 1954: THE FIRST GRADUATING CLASS OF CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL !!!

Most Apaches thought that the Class of 1955 was the "First" Graduating Class of Centennial High School but it was not.

The Class of 1954 was actually the "FIRST" APACHE Graduating Class. The 1954 Class consisted of only "5" Graduates. Because Centennial High School was still being built at the time and did not have a Gymnasium this Graduating Class did not graduate at the "BIG TEN" Campus; instead they marched, walked with and graduated with the Compton High School Class of 1954 on Compton High's Campus.

THE 1954 GRADUATES WERE:

1- Dessie Zetar-Senegal c/o '54

2- Charles Hinking c/o '54

3- ???????????? c/o '54

4- ???????????? c/o '54

5- ???????????? c/o '54

This information came from Dessie Zetar-Senegal c/o '54 (Dessie is an Alumni Committee Member of the C.H.S.A.A. Centennial High School Alumni Association)!!

Dessie is also the Organizer of the yearly "Palm Lane-Willowbrook-Centennial Picnic"!!
