Remembering My Mother!

Rest In Peace Mom. November 9, 1982 Make 30 Years Since You Were Called Home!

Sweet smile on your face as you sleep the pain away, Resting in God's arms now, although in the ground your body lay. He needed another angel in the Heavenly choir and that's why you had to go. As you promised, you are still with us watching your children here below. You have always been there through the thick and the thin No matter what I've done, unconditionally you love never wavering. When I told you of the mistakes I made and all the times people saw me fall. You simply nodded and gently replied 'so have we all'. The key to success is learning from the past, Ensuring a brighter future is now the present task. A pillar of strength even until the end, Fighting all life's battles, knowing it's triumphantly you would win, Pushing me to be the best that you know I can be, Reminding me to keep the faith and allow God to lead me. Knowing it's through Christ that I can do all things, And as He never makes a mistake I will come through victoriously. I miss you more than these words could ever say, The pain in my heart is from one unimaginable day, After I cried all that I could; my eyes still shed countless more tears, And when I try to sleep, I have nightmares of ten-thousand fears, I walk in footsteps on an unsure path, My load feels so heavy I was not sure I would last. I was afraid of life then that you're were gone, Because I've always had a mother. And Mom, what about my 2 big sisters, big brother and baby sister. I wish you could have stayed just a little while longer, there was so much left to do I wonder if I prayed hard enough and if so, did they get through. Finding relief in knowing I will see you again someday soon, Remembering all you taught me as my soul I continue to groom. I will walk in footsteps you have walked before me, Seeing the path you walked lead you, Mom, straight into victory. So as you sleep Mom, in the cradle of the Lord, I am reassured of God's promises in His Holy Word. I dream of the day when Heaven's gates open to receive me, And with your smiling face and loving eyes, reunited once again I will be. Love you Mom with all of my heart.

Your Son,
Wayne Ware

Hey.......Adrian I love that song too.

God  truly blessed us all by giving us Moms. There will never....ever.....be anyone on earth more important than Moms and the unconditional love that they have for their children and the love that they give to their children. Thanks Adrian for sharing!!

The song ill aways love came to my mind as i entered the group

I'LL ALWAYS LOVE MY MAMA
(Kenneth Gamble / Leon Huff / Gene McFadden /
John Whitehead / Victor Carstarphen)

The Intruders - 1973

I'll always love my mama
She's my favourite girl
I'll always love my mama
She brought me in this world

Sometimes I feel so bad
When I think of all the things I used to do
How mama used to clean somebody else's house
Just to buy me a new pair of shoes

I never understood how mama
Made it through the week
When she never ever got
A good night's sleep

(Talking 'bout mama)
Oh, she's one of a kind
(Talking 'bout mama)
You got yours, and I got mine
(Talking 'bout mama)
Ah, Hey mama
Hey mama
My heart belongs to you
Oh, yeah

I'll always love my mama
She's my favourite girl
You only get one
You only get one, yeah
I'll always love my mama
She brought me in this world

Hmm, A mother's love's so special
It's something that you can't describe
It's the kind of love that stays with you
Until the day you die
She taught me little things
Like saying hello, and thank you, please
While scrubbing those floors on her bended knees

(Talking 'bout mama)
Oh, she's one of a kind
(Talking 'bout mama)
You got yours, and I got mine
(Talking 'bout mama)
Hey mama,
Hey mama,
My heart belongs to you
Oh, yeah

I'll always love my mama, yeah
She's my favourite girl
You only get one
You only get one, yeah
I'll always love my mama
She brought me in this world

Hmmm, I'm talking 'bout mama
(I'll always love my mama)
My sweet old mama
(I'll always love my mama)
Used to scrub the floor
(I'll always love my mama)
While hanging on to me
(I'll always love my mama)
Used to get up in ropes of time
(I'll always love my mama)
Oh, mama
(I'll always love my mama)
Yeah, sweet old mama
(I'll always love my mama)
Tell you, I love you, I love you, I love you
(I'll always love my mama)
Yeah, yeah

I just want to congratulate my mom for being choosen as New Mount Calvary Baptist Church's woman of the month. Below is a picture of her on one of her many African Missionary Trips. I believe this one was taken in Kenya. That is my mom on the left of the King.

Selena,

Thanks so much for sharing about your Mom and your family with us. Your Mom is beautiful. God bless your Mom. God needs her Missionary Work ; and what a blessing that she not only shares it here in California; but also over in Africa. There are certainly a lot of souls for God that need saving. Your Grandmother sounded like a wonderful Woman as well, may she R.I.P. Thank the Lord that your Grandfather & your Grandmother moved away way-back-when to keep all of your family safe.

Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, that you do unto me, says the Lord.

(Matthew 25:40)

God bless you and your family always Selena!!

Have a Very Blessed Day & Week!!

Love and Blessings, Phoebe

This is my mom, Marjie Mosley at her mom's funeral. Her mom Edna Parker died this past January. Her mom lived for 102 years. I am so pleased to know that my grandmother lived to see a black man become presiden to the United States for my grandmother lived during a time of Jim Crow and not being able to vote. She and my grandfather had to leave East Texas and move to Houston, Texas where my mother was born because a white man called my grandfather a nigger and my grandfather beat him up and in doing so broke the white man's leg. They were looking for my grandfather to lench him but my grandparents left town during the middle of the night and moved to the Fifth Ward edition of Houston,Texas. I thank God for my mom who took care of us without the help of my father. She made sure that we could read and write and gave us every opportunity possible to have a great education. I thank God that when she had to work on Sunday's she made sure that we still went to church by having someone from church pick us up. My mother is a Ordained Missionary who yearly travels to Africa. She has been to Africa about 10 or 11 times. She enjoy living in the villages and being with the people of the various counties of Africa. She is the Director of the STICTHES progam of New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles. Weekly she sets up in Magic Johnson Park and presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Children who visit the park.

Tawnette,

I'm so very sorry for your loss; the loss of your Mother. God bless you and your family. I know that her death is still very fresh for you on this 4th Anniversary but take comfort in your Memories. Remember the Bond that you had with your Mom cannot and will never be broken. Let God  and your loving memories be your refuge until you meet your Sweet, Loving, & Precious Mother again. She's now an Angel of the Lord watching over you and your family.

May she continue to R.I.P.  !!

Love and Blessings, Your Friend Phoebe

Hey Phoebe!

Thanks for the kind words about my Mom, like I told you my Mother was a sweet heart, all my close friends called her Mom because that's how she treated them, like she was a second Mom to them, she would have loved you because you have so many things in common.

Like I said before My Mother passed away 28 yrs. ago & sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. I miss her so much, the Love I have for my Mom, will never go away.

I Love you Mom, with all my Heart.

Thanks again Phoebe for the kind words about my Mom, Like my Lil Sister said you are blessed to have both of your parents still here & your Mother is like my Mom she's a sweet heart because she treats me like she's my second Mom & I Love her for that!!
