San Bernardino County is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,035,210, up from 1,709,434 as of the 2000 census. With an area of 20,105 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, larger than any of the nine smallest states, and larger than the four smallest states combined; and larger than the closest-sized countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Costa Rica.[3]

Located in the southeast California, the thinly populated deserts and mountains of this vast county stretch from the outskirts of the densely populated Riverside-San Bernardino Area to the Nevada border and the Colorado River.

The county seat is San Bernardino. The county is considered part of the Inland Empire region.

HISTORY

Father Francisco Dumetz named San Bernardino on May 20, 1810, feast day of St. Bernardino of Siena.

San Bernardino County was formed from parts of Los Angeles County in 1853. Parts of the county's territory were given to Riverside County in 1893.

The Franciscans gave the name San Bernardino to the snowcapped peak in Southern

California, in honor of the saint and it is from him that the county derives its name.[2]

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:

We shout “hallelujah!” for the Lord our God the Almighty reigns! Great is He, Who’s the King of kings and the Lord of lords; Father, You are wonderful! Thank You Lord for blessing us to see the last day of 2015. We thank You Lord for bringing us this far by faith. Throughout this year we didn’t always trust You as we should, nor did we do all You assigned for us to do; But still we say, thank You Lord for all You've done for us. We pray each one will close out this year determined to trust You more and believe Your grace is sufficient. This year we’ve experienced healing, deliverance, breakthrough, happy times, sad times, doubtful times—through it all You kept us, so we say “Thank You!” We look forward to a New Year with great expectations. Father, as we move forward doing our assignment, we look to You to exceed abundantly above all we ask or think, We’re not going back, we’re moving ahead, the past is over and we look to You to do a new thing in our life. We praise You Jesus and we thank You for being our ALL in ALL, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for waking us to see another day. It is a new day You created just for us to glorify You. Be glorified in our smiles today. Be glorified in our laughter today. Be glorified in our speech today. Be glorified in the steps we take by faith today. We pray each one will recognize what it means to live, move and have our being in You. Help us to remove “I can’t” from our vocabulary. Give us the courage to get rid of “I’m scared” and replace with “I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength”. Bless each one to come to know Your Word in such a way that we can replace our words with Your Word, and keep standing. It’s time to step out and move forward and today is the day. We declare today to be, “No More Excuses Wednesday”. The world is waiting on our purpose and we’re moving out by faith, in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

We bless the Name of Jesus! Lord we thank You for a wonderful weekend and we look forward to a week filled with GREATER; Greater visions, greater goals, greater determination and greater commitment. Our desire is not to be comfortable, but rather convinced we have greater work to do; And it's time to get busier! Lord show us Your way, show us our work, and give us the wisdom and courage to do our assignment. We pray one for another, praying each one purposes in our heart to do better today than we did on yesterday. We’re excited about 2016, but we’re more excited about the great things in store for us as we have a strong finish to 2015. We give You praise in advance for a victorious day, in Jesus Name, Amen.

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:

O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! For You alone are worthy and we give You all the glory! All praises be to the King of kings and Lord of lords, You are absolutely wonderful! We praise You Father for this day we call, “Christmas Eve”. We pray each one slow down long enough to remember Who this season is about. We pray each one remembers if You had not come, You could not have died and our souls would be lost. Thank You Jesus for loving us so much! We pray each one purposes in our heart to not wait until this time next year to celebrate Your birth, but rather celebrate You each day of our life., in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for opening our eyes to see another new day. We thank You for Your mercy and grace. Lord we praise You because we recognize if it had not been for You on our side there is no way we would have made it this far. Thinking over our life we are grateful because we have come this far by faith, everyday gaining more strength and becoming more determined to live out our purpose. We’re determined to trust You, be obedient and expect Your favor. Lord continue to lead, guide and direct us, for our desire is to be present at each blessing point—we want all You have for us! Help each one to know in order to be the recipient of Your exceeding abundant favor we must pay attention to You and no matter what follow Your directions. It’s a good day today and we shall rejoice and be glad in it, no matter what, in Jesus Name, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Blessed be the Name of the Lord, You are worthy to be praised and adored! O mighty God, we praise, worship and honor You; we declare by faith You are the only true and living God. We thank You Father for “so loving” us that You gave Your only begotten Son, only asking us to believe Your act of love. We pray each one will act on Who we believe; we pray our life be a shinning example to all we come in contact with and the works we do will show the world Who we represent. We pray each one will purpose in our heart to do what we need to do today; say what we need to say today. Our new beginning does not have to begin in 2016, with a made up mind it can begin today. Draw each one closer to You, give us the courage to step out and be who You designed us to be, in Jesus Name, Amen.

IS JESUS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON?

What is Christmas about? Giving and receiving gifts? Family get-togethers? Food? Eggnog?
Who is Christmas about? Is it about you? Your children? Family? Friends?
Why do you celebrate Christmas? Is it really about the birth of Jesus?
If it’s about His birthday, then why does everyone receive a gift, except Jesus?
How would you feel if everyone, except you, received a gift for your birthday?

If we’re celebrating the birth of Jesus, why don’t we give Him a gift?
What could we possibly give Jesus?
How about the gift He gave you? Life!
How about worshipping Him with your giving?
How about glorifying Him in the way you walk and talk?
How about living to be a blessing to someone else?

Suggestion: Treat Jesus’ birthday the way we treat our birthday.
Final question: Is Jesus the reason for the season, or not?

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:

All praises be to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, You're wonderful! How great is our God! From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same, our Great God is to be praised! We bless Your Name Jesus and we thank You for giving us breath to say, “Thank You!” We thank You for breath to say, “There is none like You!” We thank You for breath to say, “Yes Lord, Your will be done in our life.” We thank You for breath to say, “Be glorified in our life today!” We pray each one recognizes because we have breath, we have a reason to praise our faithful God. It’s the season to encourage someone and show them the way to the Greatest Love of All. We pray each one will take their journey serious and know now is the time to be all You designed us to be. Now is the time to show love one to another. Now is the time to forgive. Now is the time to show the world YOU through the life we live, we give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father, we love You. We praise You. We worship You. We honor You. We declare by faith You are the only true and living God. There is nobody like You Lord, nobody greater than You. We thank You for blessing us with a free will. It’s our choice to love, honor and obey You; or not, with our choice we willingly choose You. We choose to follow where You lead. We choose to trust You. We choose to let our light shine everywhere we go. We choose to live out our purpose. We choose to expect You to continue to be faithful. We choose to expect You to hear and answer our prayers. We choose to expect You to exceed abundantly above all we ask or think. There are so many things about life we don’t understand and sometimes don’t agree with, but we’re sticking with our choice. We pray one for another, asking that You meet us where we are and whatever we stand in need of, touch, heal and deliver. Our praise is our weapon and today we choose to use our weapon, looking for the victory in all things, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Thank You Lord! Father we just want to thank You! You’ve been so good, You are so good and because You’re the same yesterday, today and forever, You will be so good; Father we just want to thank You! Words are not enough; we pray each one will live a “thank You” life today. We pray each one will show each one we come in contact with how thankful we are to You for all of Your blessings, benefits, promises, protection, peace, and most of all Your amazing love to us always. You’re good and Your mercy endures forever, we pray each one will worship You for Who You are and everywhere we go and in all we do, You be glorified. That’s all Lord, we’re not asking for anything, we just want to THANK YOU! In Jesus Name, Amen.
