San Bernardino County is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,035,210, up from 1,709,434 as of the 2000 census. With an area of 20,105 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, larger than any of the nine smallest states, and larger than the four smallest states combined; and larger than the closest-sized countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Costa Rica.[3]

Located in the southeast California, the thinly populated deserts and mountains of this vast county stretch from the outskirts of the densely populated Riverside-San Bernardino Area to the Nevada border and the Colorado River.

The county seat is San Bernardino. The county is considered part of the Inland Empire region.

HISTORY

Father Francisco Dumetz named San Bernardino on May 20, 1810, feast day of St. Bernardino of Siena.

San Bernardino County was formed from parts of Los Angeles County in 1853. Parts of the county's territory were given to Riverside County in 1893.

The Franciscans gave the name San Bernardino to the snowcapped peak in Southern

California, in honor of the saint and it is from him that the county derives its name.[2]

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Praise the Name of Jesus! You’re our Rock! You’re our Fortress! You’re our Deliverer, in You O Lord do we trust! Our Father, our God, what a mighty God You are; great is Your faithfulness! Thank You for this new day filled with Your presence, graced with Your love and surrounded by Your goodness, kindness, mercy and grace. Everywhere we go today and in all that we do, help us be reminded that You’re there, and because You’re there we should govern ourselves accordingly: our actions and our speech should reflect the presence of a holy God. We pray each one will purpose in our heart to do something today that reflects our purpose. We pray each one will do something today to call attention to how great You are; how favored by You we are; and how wonderful it is to be loved by You. In the Name of Jesus we are more than conquerors! In the Name of Jesus no weapon formed against shall prosper! We praise You Father, because in the Name of Jesus we have the victory! In Jesus Name, Amen.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

Are you motivated by what they said?
THEY SAID:
“Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.”
~ Bernice Johnson Reagon ~
“We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.” ~ C. Malesherbe s~
“All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.” ~ Walt Disney ~
“Did you ever see an unhappy horse? Did you ever see a bird that had the blues? One reason why birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses.” ~ Dale Carnegie ~
“Real happiness comes from inside. Nobody can give it to you.”
~ Sharon Stone ~

If what “they” said motivates you, then get motivated and DO something!

I choose to be motivated by what God said:
GOD SAID:
“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me”
“I am more than a conqueror through Him Who loved me”
“With God nothing is impossible”
“Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world”
“No weapon formed against me shall prosper”

I’m motivated because I believe God! Your motivation may not work for me and what motivates me may not work for you, that’s fine. What’s important is that however we’re motivated, we’re motivated enough to DO something other than worry, fuss, complain, be stressed and unhappy. Do something to make you smile from within and you will discover, your genuine smile is contagious. How about doing your purpose; the world is waiting.

What’cha gon do?

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

How great is our God! Your Name is above all names and You’re worthy of all praise! We offer praise to You Father because mighty are the works of Your hands; You keep doing great things for us. We praise You Father for the air we breathe and we worship You because we know it is in You we live, move and have our being. We ask Your blessings on each eye that reads this prayer, each ear that hears this prayer and each heart that is a recipient of this prayer; we pray Your presence be made known and all know You are the Great I Am, the absolute answer to all the issues we call problems. We pray each one will have a praying, praising spirit; determined to follow where You’ve ordered our steps. We pray each one will speak words that bring life and have an, “I expect God” attitude. We pray the words we speak and the actions we take will point back to our faithful God, and You be glorified in our life today, in Jesus Name, Amen.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

We praise You O Lord! We magnify Your Name! We worship and adore You, for we recognize You are the only living God. Thank You for another day of life; another chance to say yes to Your will, another opportunity to glorify You in our life today. We pray each one will purpose in our heart to do our assignment for today. Help us to know our assignment is always to please You, rather than man. Our assignment is to forgive those who have wronged us, whether they ask or not. Our assignment is to have love one to another, whether they receive it or not. Our assignment is to praise You with the way we talk and in the things we do, whether we feel like it or not. Our assignment is to work out our purpose for living today. Help each one to know the assignment for our life is our responsibility; the assignment of others is their responsibility and there is nothing we can do to make anyone complete their assignment—trying to do so will only cause heartache, stress, and frustration. We pray each one acknowledge You first in all we do and not forget to say, “Thank You Lord for the victory in advance!” In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER:

O Lord, our God, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! We praise You because You are the source of our strength and the strength of our life. You give us peace in the midst of troubled times. You give us joy added with a smile during the times the world believes we should be crying. When we don’t understand why, You assure us we can trust You through it all. Thank You Father for being the only constant we have; Thank You for being our All in all, our very best Friend. Father You made this day and knowing You, You have great things planned for us; help us to follow where You lead and purpose in our heart to rejoice and be glad in this day, no matter what, Father, we lift unto YOU, Apostle Rebecca Berry and family as they celebrate the transition of their love one, Bro. Louis Washington. We also lift unto you Bro. Jason Prescod, asking that you meet every need and let it be known unto them that YOU are able to meet every need in every situation that they are faced with, Now in, the matchless Name of JESUS CHRIST, Amen.

FRIDAY MORNING INSPIRATION:

NO WORDS NEEDED

How do you show you're thankful? Saying "thank you" is not enough when your actions don't display your words. If you couldn't speak or sign, "thank you " how would anyone know how thankful you are?

Who knows you appreciate them? How do they know; because you spoke the words? If you couldn't speak or sign, "I appreciate you" how would anyone know how appreciative you are?

How does anyone know you love them? How do they know; because you spoke the words? If you couldn't speak or sign, "I love you" how would anyone know?

Does it matter to you if anyone knows how thankful you are? Is there anyone you appreciate and love? Does it matter to you if they know it? It’s true, actions speak louder than words; don’t be guilty of taking people and things for granted. What would you do if the reason you say you’re thankful, the people you say you appreciate and love, are no longer available to you? Would it matter?

Are you thankful to God? Do you appreciate God? Do you love God? Does God know it? How does God know; because you said so? Actions speak louder than words; are you guilty of taking God’s unconditional love to you for granted? Our love to God should be seen in the way we walk; no words needed. How you walking?

THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER:
O Lord our God, we lift our hands in total praise to You. Worthy are You O Lord of all our praise! Lord we take nothing for granted, we recognize all that we have, all that we can do and all that we know, it’s all because of You. Without You we couldn’t wake up. Without You we couldn’t continue to breathe. Without You we couldn’t move around from space to space. Lord we’re so grateful to still be alive, we have another chance to live out our purpose. We pray each one will do something today that lines up with our purpose. We pray our lives will point back to You and say, “What a mighty God we serve!” Everywhere we go today we pray each one will serve You to someone else. We pray each one will let the world see, it is in You we live, move and have our being. Our God is an awesome God and in all Your awesomeness, You’re with us everywhere we go. Help us remember Who our constant Company Keeper is and know because You’re with us, the victory belongs to us in ALL things! Bless our son Jarrod, as he celebrates his 32nd birthday. We give You praise, in Jesus Name, Amen.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Our Father, our Lord, our God, thank You for the blessing to be a part of this beautiful day. Thank You for another chance to say yes to Your will. Thank You for another opportunity to show the world Jesus through us. Thank You for more time to live out our purpose. We pray each one has a made up mind to please You, rather than man. Today is the day to do more loving, caring and sharing. Today is the day to do less arguing, complaining and fussing. Today is the day to make ourselves available to be used by our faithful God. We’re praying for Laurie Johnson as she prepares to enter the operating room; Father we pray Your presence in the room is manifested by a successful surgery and a speedy road to recovery. Bless Marcelyn Carter as she recovers from her procedure; continue to draw her closer to You that she may continue to experience Your peace. Bless the names we don’t know who are standing in the need of healing, comforting or deliverance. We pray each one remembers You are for us, which is more than the whole world against us, which further means, WE WIN! Thank You Father for the victory today, in Jesus Name, Amen.
