My deepest sympathy and condolences. I was sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Freeman. 

While I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him or meeting him, I have heard many alumni older than myself speak very highly of him for his work during his tenure at Centennial Sr. High School and at Willowbrook Jr. High School.. Many alumni spoke about how he was a force to be reckoned with, and how he encouraged them to never give up, to stay in school and to always pursue their dreams.

I hope and pray that the passage of time will help ease all of your and the Freeman family's grief and sadness; and that it will leave each of you with many enduring warm and happy memories of him. In the meantime, may God's love guide, bring peace, comfort, support, strengthen and carry all of you today and always.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Freeman for the first time, when I was an 8th grader at Willowbrook JHS back in 71. I was part of a math class at Centennial during that & Dr Freeman was the instructor. My 6th grade teacher, at Kennedy Elementary, Mr. Frank Davis, instilled the values of mathematics in my life & Dr Freeman made sure I never forgot those lessons. RIP to two great legends of education.
