- Biography:
- I was moved from Compton when I was a senior during our Christmas break (Dec '87). As a student of martial arts (Black Karate Federation (BKF)) while in LA, I was able to continue my interest and eventually found my way to becoming one of the top fighters and eventually on the short list to Olympic glory. Unfortunately, fate took a turn and our roster was dismantled by the politics of cable television and I was on my way to the military.
At the age of 22, I worked my way through all my training and was honored to be among the elite in a special operations unit called, Airborne Rangers. Upon my departure from the military after six years as a combat veteran, I returned to college and pursued my interest in law enforcement. This opportunity only lasted a couple of years while I did have the luxury of working undercover. My injury from my military past caught up to me, and I had to change my career into something that was less demanding on my physical body.
I acquired my Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree prior to accepting a Bachelor in business to support my knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship. My initial job was with the State of California as I learned the concepts of contracting. With that knowledge, I used my veteran status to acquire contracting opportunities and eventually won numerous business awards state-wide for my company growth and knowledge of expertise in contracting, business development and project management.
Currently, as Chief Executive Officer of Aaron P Bryant Enterprises, Inc. which is the managing firm of my numerous business entities; I was able to acquire my master of business administration (MBA), project management professional (PMP), six sigma: black belt and business analyst certifications among other accreditations. Yet my full-time job is working for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as their Deputy Chief, of Operations and Manuals to oversee policy and procedures in Kabul, Afghanistan-North.
As an employee of the federal government, I work among many higher educated people. My goal is to justify my capabilities and skills and to perform and demonstrate the same level of knowledge by pursuing my doctorate.
To offset my rigorous work habits, I am an avid golfer (9-handicap) that enjoys coaching youth, running my non-profit year round golf academy, reading, watching television and collecting/drinking wine from wherever I can.

- I love to play golf. I also run a year-round golf academy, coach youth basketball from time to time and try to get reading in as much as possible.
I collect wine and provide assistance to other entrepreneurial people attempting to get their businesses off the ground.
