HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY (ON THURSDAY NOVEMBER 25) TO ALL CHS ALUMNI !!
TWO THANKSGIVING DAY POEMS: 
"MORE THAN A DAY"
As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we're poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.
So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you've got;
Realize it's a lot,
And you'll make all your cares go away.

On Thanksgiving Day we are thankful for
Our blessings all year through,
For family we dearly love,
For good friends, old and new.
For sun to light and warm our days,
For stars that glow at night,
For trees of green and skies of blue,
And puffy clouds of white.
We are grateful for our eyes that see
The beauty all around,
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
And ears to hear each sound.
The list of all we are grateful for
Would fill a great big book;
Our thankful hearts find new delights
Everywhere we look!
