Okay I'll go first:
Besides getting a bicycle, and rollerskates,
I remember that my favorite Christmas toy that I received from my Parents was getting
a Chatty Cathy Doll. It was the hottest girl toy out for that year and amazingly to me the doll talked. It was the first talking doll that I had ever saw or that I had ever received. Yes, those were the days!!

I'LL BE HONEST! MY FAVORITE TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS WERE MY BROTHER'S TOYS (JAMES). OF COURSE THERE WAS THE BABY DOLL AND THE DOLL CARRIAGE AND OTHER TOYS. BUT, I REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL TOYS, SKATEBOARD, RACE TRACK AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE FOOTBALL GAME. I WAS A GREEN BAY PACKER. EVERY CHRISTMAS I ENJOYED MY BROTHERS TOYS! THANKS JAMES FOR MAKING MY CHILDHOOD CHRISTMAS GREAT!
I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER MY MAMA COOKING THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. I CAN STILL SMELL THE SWEET POTATOE PIES, BAKED CHICKEN, CORNBREAD DRESSING, GREENS... AND A LOT OF OTHER GOOD FOODS. THANKS MAMA FOR THE MEMORY!
My favorite memory at Christmas was my brother and I getting a baseball glove, bat and baseball (among other toys). After my Mom
fixed a big breakfast and we all ate my Dad took my brother and me to the
baseball diamond at the nearest Park and my Dad played catch and baseball with
us for most of the Christmas day. I was around seven or eight and my brother was
ten. My brother and I had a lot of fun that day, things were very simple back
then (the good old days)!
